So sorry to hear that you won’t be getting the new rabbit. Stories like this make me mad… why didn’t the ex-wife take the rabbit in the first place? I hope the bunny gets a better life and doesn’t end up in another garage again. I can’t understand what you must be going through, but I can tell you would have made a great owner to this poor bun. As for Krimpet and your new cat, I think you should block your cat from getting into Krimpet’s space. He needs his own territory where he can feel safe and call his own.

I am sorry too that the new bunny never came.  What a time to become spiteful. Thats so sad.  I hope the bunny has a good home.  That she doens’t get stuck in the cage after the novelty wears off. If so perhaps she can go to you after all.  I totally understand your dissapointment.  It can be very heartbreaking.  They are our children. 

when I first got Cotton he was 2 months old.  I had had him a while. When he was about 6-7 months  I adopted a cat off craigslist.  At first all seemed well.  I had 2 rabbits at that time.  I let Cotton n Laith the bunny sleep with me. Before I started caging them at nite. (Kept me up and peed all over my bed n pillows lol) Didn’t last long lol.  Anyway…. The cat seemed fine.  Then one morning Cotton zoomed into the living room in a terror attack running into things I caught him and calmed him.  Then put him in his house. 

I took Laith he was milder and didn’t panic like Cotton.  I found the cat under the bed where Cotton had come tearing out of there.  I figured something had happened between them.  I took Laith and put him by the cat.  The cat took a swipe at him not a playful swipe but a I am going to catch capture and kill swipe.  I knew then I couldn’t keep them all.  

Fortunately I found a neighbor who was able to take the cat.  The person I got it from didn’t want it back.  Very unfortunate for the cat was very sweet.  I lived in a small apartment so it was very very hard to give them their own space.  The place wasn’t big enuf to put the buns in the living room and the cat in the bedroom.  It just didn’t work out.  That was a nice cat to.  I never did that again.  No cats no dogs.  

Your place is more than likely bigger than mine was lol  and you are able to work it out that the 2 CAN have their own space.  My situation wasn’t like that.   It doesn’t take long to get attached either.  I bet that cat is like your family already
