Congrats on the new bun and how wonderful of you to take her in so she can live a happy life inside the house as opposed to living alone in a garage!
Some things to note before you start bonding- Wait a couple days (perhaps a week) before starting your first bonding session because your new bun has no idea where she is, who you are, and all of a sudden she’s meeting a new rabbit. It’s a lot for a little creature to take in, so give her a few days to settle into her new home and become familiar with you. I made the mistake of bonding on the third day after adopting Emilee and it was stressful for everyone… it’s so hard to be patient, but it can make a huge difference =)
It will also be good for your rabbit to get used to seeing her before coming in contact with her and know that she’s not just a visitor, but a permanent resident. As Mocha said, put their cages near each other but not too close that they could attack or bite each other. Switching their toys or food bowls can also help get them used to each other’s scent and optimize their bonding experience. Good luck!!
