It looks like we may be going with a vinyl plank floating floor for our new bunny room (buns get 1/2 the room).  I’m trying to find vinyl planks with the most texture possible but vinyl is vinyl and traction for bunnies will still not be great.  I’ve read a few things where people have put a few cotton rugs around on top of vinyl to help with traction.  If cotton rugs are a good option, what do they look like and where do you find them?  (All cotton rugs I’m finding are plush bathroom rugs)  Will bunnies chew them (don’t want tummy blockages!)?

I’ve thought about grass mats but my chewer will shred them and my pee-er will pee all over them and grass mats aren;t washable.  I tried indoor/outdoor carpet in their current play area but it just seemed to get dirty so fast and I kept catching all three trying to pull at it (it has a low loop design).

If anyone has any other ideas, please share!
