So I tried weighing Harley the other day on my bathroom scale and he’s weighing someone were around 9 pounds! Could be more or less it was wobbling a little bit. Sally weighs 6-7 pounds and Bam weighs 4.2 pounds from his neuter last week.

I weighed myself holding the crate and then I weighed myself holding the crate with them in it. Separately of course :p

Well today its my day off and I am celebrating with some chocolate and Binky Bunny! Tomorrow morning my salon is going to have a commercial shoot so that will be fun! Kinda excited and nervous about it as I have never been filmed while doing hair. :/

Well my husband got in a car accident. Our brand new truck no more. He ran a red light and got hit when he was turning left. Not sure why he ran it. He said he was stopped at the light and when it turned green for the cars going straight he went, even though the turning light was red. I guess when the cars next to him started moving he reacted instead of looking at the light realizing it was red! But everyone’s okay. It wasn’t very fast impact.

LBJ Bumble baby is Lulu’s stuffed floppy snowman. I’d upload a picture but I haven’t figured out how to shrink it on my laptop. Anyway, Bumble is the abominable snowman from the original Rudolph the Red- Nosed Reindeer movie.

Yeah the car rental people will be here in a little bit to give My husband a ride to get his rental car. And they are sending someone to tow it for us to get repaired. Our insurance is taking great care of it!

I bought this cane peice.  Neighbor drilled a hole so I screwed it on this pole here.  Used it for quite some time.  Then it fell. Broke.  Boohoo.

I used gorilla glue and it expanded in the screw hole.  So now I can’t use it.  Boo Hoo.  I have another one tho.

Here is the cane I ordered last year from ebay.  A man from a tribe in south america somewhere carved a lot of different things this walking stick cane being one of them.  I cannot find them again. 

It had wooden ears but is top heavy and kept falling and breaking the ears off. I kept super glueing them on and eventually lost them when they broke off. So I made some.  These are the best I could get after numerous attemps to make some that look decent out of the ears from my slippers to material. 

When I set it down I put it top down so that way nothing else breaks when it falls.  I added a tail to it as the tail on it people couldn’t figure out what it was.  My hand covers the original hand carved tail.

I think it’s so cool how you can carve something with such detail out of wood, or really any material for that matter.

Who’s DUMB idea was it to ‘Spring clean’ in Autumn???? That’s right – mine! DOH! I am barely half way through (after 2 days) and I have found bunny fluff in places bunny fluff shouldn’t be! At a distance my house looks clean, but gee, when you get up close and have a good look I’m embarrassed to say it’s quite grubby (my OCD has let me down). OK back to it (I so don’t want to), ho hum……

They won’t skyrocket at all. We have accident forgiveness because of our driving record. Now if he does it again… Not too sure about that haha but I’m hoping it gave him a rude awakening that vehicles are something you have to be careful with. People seem to forget they are heavy machinery and you need to pay attention at all times. They’re deadly when you aren’t paying attention! I’ve always, ALWAYS viewed vehicles as hapeavy machinery lol it’s just my pet peeve. I don’t even talk on the phone when driving, I don’t even change radio stations when Driving…it just stays on the channel ipthats selected before hitting the road. Or if I’m driving and my husband is passenger he changes the stations. I just don’t like piddle paddling around when driving cars…lol my phone is kept put clear away. I don’t dig for anything or look for NADA when driving. Every being in my car has to wear a seatbelt at all times, or my car stays put (I feel responsible for their lives in my car so they have to…plus it’s the law!) I’m always completely aware when driving…. Its only that bad when its on main roads. I’m not that stingy in private roads lol It’s just a part of my anxiety lol I’m sure the car accident I was in when I was a young kid might have something to do with it. And I’ve lost 3 friends in high school from car accidents. I just take vehicles very seriously so when he told me he got in a car accident I got very upset, emotionally lol

But I’m over the trauma that my husband was out there daydreaming while driving a vehicle. It also upset me so much because he wants a motorcycle and something so small like that can be so catastrophic and now I’m like noooo motorcycles! But he’s going to get one anyways. Idk. It’s just a huge anxiety for me. Vehicles are lol I’m such a careful driver it’s almost pathetic haha

If you use/even touch the mobile phone here in QLD while driving the fine is $HUGE$ and the loss of points greater. I personally don’t do it, cause you can’t – meaning I know I’m a girl and all but I can’t do THOSE 2 things at once.
My younger son wanted a motorbike when he was 19….. knowing full well he’d never save up for one, I never lost sleep over it, lol! (But if he did – I’d be mortified!!!!!). Bloody son’s and husband’s!

It sucks because I KNOW it’s going to happen. He’s going to get a motocycle one day. Making my blood pressure rise just thinking about it lol

So the buns are enjoying a salad with strawberry leaves (I had strawberries for a snack tonight) yellow bell pepper, cilantro, red leaf, romaine, kale, oregano and carrot butts from left overs from tonight’s dinner haha they eat better than I do :p

Oh! and I got tickets for the ‘Lion King’ in November! I got 3 tix, for the 2 son’s and myself. Then the son’s girlfriend said she would love to go. Guess what I’m not seeing now????? Ha ha hah!

Speaking of birds and weird things animals do, there is a bird at my house that loves to attack my car mirrors….. Even if I leave my car outside for two minutes, he is there, pecking and spitting on my mirrior. And now he is starting to do it to my house windows! :/

The bird? Mmmmmm, no idea! (as usual, ha ha ha). As long as it didn’t poop on my car I may be ok with it? But my dog’s bark and it deters anything that gets too close to my/their home/house LOL! I once had a baby magpie in the pool garden area with mum hovering above. I closed the pool gate and bought the dog’s inside not to scare it any further. (that’s how I knew it was there, the dog’s barking). It took a few hours, and I’m not sure what mum did? but they both were gone when I checked on sunset.
So when you take possession of Henry, would you like to borrow one of my dog’s for a day or two? LOL!

Spring! My favourite time of year. We are in Autumn now, but it is still so warm/hot you wouldn’t know it.
Henry’s girlfriend (15yo dog) is Sam – he LOVES her! I reckon it’s cause she is blind and deaf so she doesn’t see him coming so tolerates him! When he lays right up next to her (touching) she lifts her head to check on him (he tried to molest her once before he was neutered), ha hah – but when he circles her she gets up and goes outside, LOL! I’m not sure how much time we still have with her? (poor old girl), so maybe better to take one of the other’s? Silly Henry and HIS gang! You know what annoys me? Henry loves all the dog’s first, then the hubby (he adores the hubby too), and I get nothing unless I have a craisin hanging from my mouth!!! AND he’s supposed to be MY bunny!!!!!!

LBJ the carving does have ripples like fur lines. I added jewels for eyes too.  Yes the last 2 pics didn’t come out good. I assume you were referrng to the brown cane  I tried forever to get them on documents after taking them from my laptop webcam on littles my google chrome since I have troubles with pinky n posting pics.  And you have a vulture?  Interesting.  What kind?

And Henry  there was a red cardinal that came to the window and pecked at it same time every day.  Also Cotton does the same.  He takes his treat and runs under the table or to his box to eat it unless it is real small. Its so funny

NBO I am with you about the motorcycle.  I call them murdercycles. My hubby is 75 or 74 and he wanted one.  I said no way.  Finally I told him I trust your driving I don’t trust anyone else’s and I am not getting on that thing. How would we get groceries on it etc. So I haven’t heard anymore about it. He has been such a careful driver. I used to love motorcycles and want one myself.  Then I guess I grew up.

I have tried for long to get a job at a pet store or animal shelter, anything related to animals ugh, no luck -.- Hopefully going to get some more paintings done soon & just ask a shelter if they’d let me decorate their walls with my art for free, or see if they have something they’d want to work out if I want to do that.

Also starting target training with the bunnies, they’ve become so lazy since being bonded O_o All they want to do is snuggle, groom each other, & sleep all day. Hello!? I bonded you so you could play together & not be bored! haha

Lol target training? I instantly thought of archery, my favorite past time! Which I can’t wait to start back up again. So what’s bunny target training ?

Got some sad news just now…. My Pascals litter mate and little sister Prada passed away… They were rescued together from a breeder  in 2012 with their two brothers and other sister…. Pascal came to me as a foster Xmas 2012…

Prada was diagnosed with a heart problem last year and stayed with the rescue where she was cared for and dearly loved until she passed earlier today…. I have a triptic photo portrait of her as a baby eating carrot tops on my kitchen wall.

When youngest son moved out earlier this week and his room was empty….. Henry ‘tried’ to claim it! He spent two days frolicking around. As we have slowly added other furniture, Henry has not given up HIS new room – silly bunny! Talk about moving in and taking over?!?!?

What a day! It’s Sunday arvo and I wish it was bed time! Thinking it may be time to finish up, put some good music on and have a wine or 3? Making Chicken Chasuer (from a packet mix) with added veggies for dinner – too easy! Now I just have to get my butt off the chair……

I am so addicted to BB!

Little Prada had a congenital heart disease caused by in breeding… The breeders she was rescued from had no morals and the buns were kept in shocking conditions and over bred one litter after the other……. Kelly and Nadia the rescuers decided to keep her and make what little time she had as wonderful as possible… I am just so lucky Pascal is healthy as he came from the same litter even if he is a big boof head.

CONGRATULATIONS LEL! So proud Amanda, he he he he……

Tell Kelly and Nadia ‘good on them’! How lovely they did that for Prada. It must make her passing that little tiny bit easier knowing she had a chance at a good life. But still so sad…. Give that big boof head of yours a cuddle from me tonight Roberta. Take care.

I just did a mini bonding session with Bam and Harley. I was so nervous based off their first meeting I was getting nauseas lol but yeah, my works cut out for me. It’s not gonna be a Sally and and Harley bond that’s for sure. Lol not sure if I should do one on ones or all three together at once.

Yeah I’m going to stick with one on ones for awhile. lol I went ahead and started a bonding thread. Sally and Harley’s bond was nothing so I feel like this will be my first actual bonding haha

I am going to upgrade my laptop shortly and I recently saw the ads for the Windows ones… The price seems right as long as they will take additional external storage and have the speed I need for downloading my files and spreadsheets.

I always think a high post count makes you like a Binky Bunny veteran, haha! I always think of you guys with high post counts like ‘better listen to them, they know what they’re talking about’!

Well our commercial is done! It is on YouTube now, but I don’t have the link to it…it’s kinda hard to find too lol. But was so exciting to see how it turned out! Lol it was like three hours of work for 20 seconds.

Lulu was quite rambunctious this morning and getting into everything. But she must have wore herself out cuz now she is inside her box pancaked out and sleeping soundly with her Bumble baby. Lol.

I go by how they word things on the post. The numbers don’t mean TOO much to me because a new member can really sound like they know their stuff haha it does influence it a little bit though, not going to lie! But if their replies sound pretty educated and well put together I can tell they’ve been through it before or have seen it before on the forum in the past! Lol

Even though Microsoft is discontinuing support for XP, you can still use it. So long as you keep up with the antivirus software and avoid bad sites/emails. However if that’s your excuse to buy a new one, go ahead lol! I’ve been keeping my 5 yr old laptop alive with minor updates like an SSD drive and newer OS. I really only use it browse sites so it doesn’t need to be that powerful. Plus when it was new it was considered a high spec laptop, which in today’s standards makes it decent. Oh technology.

On the computer front, you might consider a chromebook if you have a regular computer too. I wouldn’t jump ship from XP just yet. I don’t know a single person who doesn’t love XP. That being said if you have a choice I would get Windows 7 instead of Windows 8. Lots of complaining from 8 users. It’s not /terrible/ but people always hate getting used to the new places that things are and this is the first tablet/pc switchover type deal that they put out so it isn’t really polished the way that Windows 7 is.

On the computer front I agree with lopnessmonster. My laptop came with windows 8 and I hate it! I’d take XP any day I’ve windows 7 or 8 actually. But you can find a good one at a decent price. I only do the basics on my PC though.

Win8 is ok, if you are used to a smartphone. I don’t have a cellphone and trying to do anything on my hubby’s Win8 just pisses me off to no end. Win7 is definitely better, though it took me a long time to like it over my XP pro.

Windows 8 is great if you have a touchscreen computer. Otherwise, not so much.

Those are rather expensive, though nice if you can afford them. I have a touchscreen netbook (10inch screen) called the “Asus X102BA 10.1-inch Touchscreen netbook AMD A4-1200 Dual Core 4GB 500GB HDMI.” It works wonderfully. And it was only $350 at best buy but it could be more or less depending on where you live. It doesn’t feel at all like a cheap computer, works smoothly.
Windows 8 was designed for tablets and touchscreen computers, so it is a bit weird on regular PCs. I have Windows 8 on both a touchscreen laptop and a tablet, and I really prefer it over Windows 7 or 8 on a regular computer.

Oh I misread your comment slightly. If you can get that tablet computer, that should work perfectly with Windows 8. Though I have never had a 2in1 so I couldn’t give you an honest review on them.

That sounds like a good choice. It should work great with win8 since it is touchscreen. If you end up getting this one, tell me about it. I have been considering getting a 2in1 for a while now.

William and Benjamin the REW boy rescue babies have their first adoption meet and greet tonight with Aly and her flat mate…. They are all set up with cages, food etc…. I’m so very excited for them but it’s going to be sad seeing one of them go… The little boy who stays tonight goes home with Jeff next Tuesday.

Sweet William was adopted tonight…. I have already had updates… He has decided to watch his new family very carefully from his new cage to assess their behavior… They are all in love… I think Bill Bunny has the perfect forever home

Ugh I hate how breeders handle things! This guy has a bunny that got head tilt. Bad and he was about to cull it but my ‘friend’ said she’d take him on. I told her this is something that requires vet care and antibiotics. She’s 16. She barely has money to feed all the animals she has now. She said she was gonna take him to the vet but uhh when her own rabbit broke his leg she didn’t give him vet care. She just wrapped it up and tossed him in the cage. And when her rabbit had crooked teeth and she’d have to get it trimmed she “culled” it. So I know she’s not going to give this poor rabbit vet care. She says there are home remedies. She’s selfish and irresponsible and I’m sick and tired of watching get animal after a animal. Breeding them and not giving them proper care. Tiny cages. Not cleaning them. It’s filthy and I’m so upset right now about this.

And I’m so so so SO glad she did not get Bam back! Pt hats where he originated from was that rabbit h.e. Double hockey sticks! Ugh

Yes it’s so hard but when she comes to me and messages me telling me these things it’s so hard to just ignore it in offer her advice and she never takes it and instead tells me she’s going to home remedy it. Same with the bunny with the broken leg. She comes to me and tells me these things and it really bothers me. She has 20 bunnies 10 rats, mice, guinea pigs, cats and dogs and they are all bred or accidentally pregnant! Her mom is just as bad as she is! She struggles every month to get food. I’m sure they go without. None of them have ever had hay to eat because she can’t afford it. Yet she is making another hutch to get even more rabbits!she only has three small hutches. 24″x36″ cage with a a 24″x24″ inside area and 19 rabbits… They are crammed in THREE hutches. And they are bigger rabbits too. She has harlequins now and was wanting English lops and champagne d argents. I’m just getting frustrated to no end because she thinks what she is doing is ok. That’s the scary part. She will not admit what she is doing is wrong. She seriously thinks what she is doing is considered spoiling the rabbits! I’m just so upset and when she tells me these things I’m very upfront that what she is doing is negligent and irresponsible to leave an animal suffering like that. It’s not right and she still just won’t understand it. I care more about these animals than sparing her feelings. And she still comes to me knowing I will most likely tell her it requires vet care only for her to tell me she’s gonna do this and this instead. She said she’s gonna treat the head tilt with safeguard? I hope this heal
A. The poor bunny is only 6 weeks old. Away from the parents now and has had it the past 5 days. No treatment. This is just the last straw. She barely can feed the animals she has now and she just keeps adding! Ugh I feel like it’s on the verge of animal abuse being negligent like that. Like the broken leg especially.

I just needed to vent. I hate seeing animals suffering. I try to avoid it but when she messages me for help I get so stressed because it’s usually something that needs vet care and she won’t listen and just lets an animal suffer. And I care so much about animals so it deeply bothers me when I know there’s a bunny with a broken leg and it’s just wrapped up and in a cage. And now this poor baby bunny is sitting in her cage rolling and just sitting there waiting to overcome it herself. * sigh* vent over I’m glad Bam is out of there seeing how cute he is. He could’ve gone back. If my husband didn’t let me get Bam he would’ve gone back to that neglectful place.

Is she willing to part with her animals for money? Maybe you can buy some of them and find them good homes. This is horrible.

Atleast in the states, it is illegal to refuse vet care to a sick or injured animal. This is animal cruelty, and cannot be passed off because the girl is young or “doesn’t know better.” I would call the proper authorities, it may seem scary but many will take anonymous tip-offs. This is tortuous to the animals. I am sorry you are in this position, I know it is horribly angering. (((Hugs)))

She does sell her animals all the time. Especially when getting low on food she’ll start selling them. Then buy a 50 pound bag of food and then just get more animals off of people. Then again when she’s low on food she’ll start stressing, sell more animals and so forth so forth. But I do not have the space to purchase these animals and then rehome them. Mainly because she won’t ever sell an animal and not replace it.

LBJ, the problem with rescue is that she is providing food and water. They aren’t starving. And the cages are wired so they aren’t standing in their own feces. When the bunny broke his leg and she didn’t get him vet care I really wanted to but then she showed me pictures of him hopping around in his cast a couple days later and I felt they wouldn’t do anything since he appeared fine. And my weakness is when someone is asking for help on an animal I can’t just ignore it. Like I just can’t. I have to try and convince her in just can’t not say anything you know? It’s just something I can’t do when she asks me for help. I try my best to get her to take the bunny to the vet. But I’m about to just delete her. Id feel bad because I promised her she could stay up to date on Bam. She said she regretted selling him to the pet store yada yada. So I told her I’d keep her updated on him. (I was worried the previous owner of Bam would give him back to this “friend” so I was trying to reassure her about me taking Bam instead of her. She too was trying to get Bam when her previous owner posted him for rehoming so I was nervous she’d give Bam back to where he originated)

But I’m feeling a lot better now. I just hate seeing all that. I’m fine usually except for the medical emergencies that get left unattended.

On a good note, Bam learned the spin trick. He’s so good at it now lol he loves craisins. As soon as I let him out he jumps on the couch begging for a treat and I make him spin for it. He’s so smart

The person that gave me Bam went to The “friends” house to pick up a hotot. I’ve never been there before mi don’t know where she lives. But she did file a complaint because she felt it was unsanitary conditions. Not sure if it went anywhere though. I’ll have to ask her about it tomorrow. that was like a week ago.

That’s what I thinking was negligence was in animal abuse department. Do I call animal control or do I call a rabbit shelter?

NBO and LBJ don’t you both live in the States? Anyhow, if it were me in your position NBO I would ‘dob’ her in. I hate ‘dibby dobber’s’ but when it comes to animals I wouldn’t hesitate. And if nothing comes of it, I’d call again, and again. Even if the animals don’t get taken from her or she doesn’t get fined or a warning, she may get sick of them being on her case and either clean up her act of give up on the animals completely? Who know’s, but that’s where I’d start. Good luck.
LBJ – I finally had lunch with my Uncle and took the time to ask what he did as a Professor at the Uni’s he worked at. As soon as he opened his mouth I was lost in his intelligent conversation, so got him to write it down, ha ha ha ha….. and he writes like all Doctors so can’t read a word LOL! Anyhow this is what I could read…. PhD from the Uni of Minnesota – Head of Environmental Science. He spent quite a few years in the States. He was also the Course Co-ordinator of Captive Vertebrate Management at Western Plains Zoo/Taronga Zoo – Dubbo Zoo and more but I can’t understand, and not even sure that what I wrote is even right/spelled correctly, LOL! Is this along the lines of what your studying? Or completely different? Sorry if it is – but thought it was worth finding out for you, especially if I can pass on his email address privately and he may be able to help you out?
Anyhow, getting past all that, we actually had a lovely lunch and a fun time together – I dreaded his visit for nothing. And he didn’t go crook at me for having Henry – WOW! ha ha ha ha….

PS – How silly to be in my 40’s and worried my Uncle was gonna go crook at me for having a bunny!

I personally hate any NEW gadget – I even hate when my iPhone does an update and changes the settings, it takes me weeks just to work out how to answer a call again!!!!! I am so old school I do my bills in a journal/ledger ‘book’ with a ‘pen’ – the amount of times everyone says why don’t you do a spreadsheet on the computer???? I did once and hit the wrong key and lost 3 hours of work! I never lose my journal/ledger book, LOL!
And if I want to check something quickly I just grab it from the desk and look – unlike waiting for the computer to turn on and getting into it…..
BUT I LOVE my computer – I met you guys!!!!!!

Here’s one for you all….. When my son first got his hairdresser apprenticeship I started growing my hair, in particular my fringe. When my fringe got past my chin and he started to learn to cut, I wouldn’t let him touch it, ha ha ha! Anyhow my hair is long and ratty and have sported nothing but a pony tail for the last 2 years+ – BORING! So he’s coming over today for lunch (his day off) and I’m letting him cut my hair with a few foils to lighten my boring mousy blonde colour. Wish ME LUCK!
PS – He is an extremely good hairdresser, won a few awards – the hesitation is with me…. what do I want??? And once it’s cut, there’s no going back!

Bam is officially a daddy to 6 baby bunnies from two of the 4 females he was housed with when the owner thought he was a girl lol. Surprised the other two didn’t get pregnant. But next weeks marks the one month mark from when I took him off her hands so we shall see. Hopefully no more meshes already overwhelmed with it :/

I’ll let you all know (maybeeee) ha ha ha….. well, it’s just after 10am here, I better get up and start cooking his lunch – meat and LOTS of veg! I’m sure since he moved out he’s been living on noodles, canned soup and takeaway???? I gave him a few kitchen items thinking between him and his mates they should have everything covered? NOPE! They have 20 bowls and NO plates, lol! So I am giving him half of my plates today – I’ve been wanting a new dinner set for years, what a great excuse for me to get one. He can have the other half of my dinner setting when I do. You wouldn’t believe that just 2 weeks ago I was sad that he moved out???? LOL!

HA HA HA HA! The bean bag’s!!!! Hilarious! Your dad sounds like my hubby – no way am I’m telling the hubby (he’s at work) that I gave half our plates away, and I doubt he’d even notice anyway, a bit less conspicuous than furniture, LOL!
Well, he came, he ate, he cut my hair and put the foils in. He packed the plates into his car (along with 2 extra meals for the freezer), came back and checked my hair and told me to give it another 15 minutes, kissed me on the cheek and LEFT! So here I am waiting for the timer to go off and chatting on BB with foil sticking out of my head. Then I get to go and rinse my head under the bath tub tap. I have no idea how my haircut is? But for as much as I tried to explain the image I had in my head of how I wanted my hair – I’m sure he just did what he wanted. Things I tolerate to save a few buck$$$ – hope I don’t regret it?????

I made it quite clear that everything I gave younger son now living with his mates was actually meant to be given to him when he and his girlfriend live together (they want to get married first). I did sort of the same for my daughter – I chipped in for her to buy new stuff (my crap obviously wasn’t good enough? ha haha), but she looks after it, unlike 4 guys living together?
Ok, hair rinsed and towel dried and I’m very happy. If only I had a hairdryer to dry it off…. he took that too when he moved out. Bugga!

and now we have 7 again,,, temporarily, until this little guy is strong enough to be released,
he’s probably no more than 3 weeks and slightly smaller than a tennis ball.
one of the girls who works at the grocery store had it in the breakroom, she said her mom’s dog was playing with it. amazingly there are zero injuries. our back yard will be good as any for re-release he already loves the flowers from the bushes in our back yard.

I’m so sorry NBO…. Just wish I could think of something to help settle every bunny down and help Bam to bond… I know what you’re going through my house full are all so badly behaved at the moment… I’ve got 8 more spays and 6 adoptions before I can neutralize the area and try to bond all mine in the inetrim I am ankle deep in hay, poop and misbehaving bunnies most of the time.

Ugh, I know exactly what you mean! Two of our neighbors (one across the street and one next door) feed all the stray cats in our neighborhood, which then in turn love to use our yard as their bathroom. Funny how they are happy to feed them but the poop is someone else’s problem… We also have a car with a cover in the driveway, it is COVERED in urine, literally. If I have to touch it because the wind blew it off I always wear gloves, it’s that nasty.

I agree with you about the dog/cat hypocrisy, too. People don’t want your dog in their yard, which I totally understand but for some reason they think letting their cat run wild and use the bathroom where ever is okay… Maybe they think cat poop doesn’t stick to your shoe?!

Uh we have a huge cat problem here. I don’t like cats lol not a cat person. Especially stray cats. But once, only once did a cat decide to step foot in my hard and I scared it so bad I have yet to have another stray cat on my yard. We have 100s of them in the neighborhood and just down the road a few houses down this guy feeds them. He has like 50+ at his house. And another guy across the street from me had to get his house gassed. He had 72 stray cats living in his house and this man has no legs and couldn’t properly clean up or care for them. Well they took the strays away and bombed the house full of roaches. But the dummies didn’t think to tent the darn house and so guess what?! Those roaches run away from that house into other people’s houses!! Luckily we haven’t seen many roaches but a few houses are throwing fits of a sudden roach issue. *sigh* so yeah… Cats are on my bad side. It wouldn’t be such an issue if my neighbors wouldn’t feed them. But at least my yard is clear. I chase very loudly if they get close to my house. Make all the cats know I no likey you! :p

Benjamin bunny left for his new home tonight… I think he is going to be one spoiled boy… It’s gone from “what is a good indoor hutch” to “Converting a kennel to an indoor cage with run” to ” I decided I don’t use that room” I think Benjamin is going to be very happy with Jeff and Zoey.
Mean while Suki had her spay today… A few complications in that she bled very heavily and her ovaries whilst the full size were deformed… Poor mite is still looking dazed fro the surgery and she had to have normal stitches due to the bleeding so will have to go back to the vet to have them removed…. She has had a little drink and a few pellets…. Just going to let her have peace and quiet so she can settle down. Pandora is having a house run and made a point of going to Suki’s cage and giving her a kiss on the nose.

Uhhh, Tried a cheaper company for the rabbit’s hay recently, and I’ve just seen there’s little bugs in it.
How annoying! Back to the expensive stuff!

Bugman came today.  I said funny you don’t look like a bug.       hahahaha.   I told him been seeing  roaches driving me nuts.  He did a good job for me.   Said another apartment is having trouble too.  And they are in the walls you can’t really get rid of them.  Great.  I know they are in the walls cuz the downstairs neighbors had a water leak in the walls and the roaches started coming in the DAYtime.   The leak got fixed but the roaches never really went away. So I know it is downstairs that has a big problem.  I heard them talking one day.  The other apartments have some but not like downstairs.  Drat.  Least the bug control guy helped out with extra stuff. 

My a/c been acting up.  Jim came yesterday fixed something worked good for a few hours.  Then acted up again.  I put    knob on hottest setting it wouldn’t shut off so I turned it completely off.  This morning i turned it on    on hottest setting called maintenance.  Jim came brought some new brains for the a/c and   it should work good now. Weather is great so windows are open.  I think a/c is fixed this time.  I am not running it and have windows open.  

We are under boil water til friday.  Someone ran into a fire hydrant and it messed up a main water main. Hubby had collected a huge giant water bottle of rainwater plus a pot of it on the stove so I am using that for stuff.  I hate boiling water.  My neighbor didn’t know and had been drinking it.  He is just fine.  He knows now tho.  Yikes. 

So many things.   

Bean bag lol.  Watch that furniture.  My hubby would notice if something got thrown out.  He always does.  Annoys me.  I want to declutter and he gets mad when I end up throwing something he wanted or uses and I didn’t know he uses.  

That little wild bunny is the cutest thing.  HE is quick too. 

I missed the eclipse.  I knew there was a reason I wanted to stay up late but I couldn’t remember why.  The next morning I got up and heard again about the eclipse.  Drat that was why I wanted to stay up late.  Duh  hahahaha

Tessie  bugs in hay  yuck.  

cats  I like cats but loose ones and a whole herd of feral ones yuck.  There is a feral colony on the beach that someone feeds and has had fixed their ears are tipped.  Also another colony by the river where people put their boats in the water someone takes food to them and they been fixed too.  Thats ok it is away from our homes they don’t pee on the cars etc.  But in residential.  Nope.  Thats not right. 

That guy with the ferals no legs and roaches.  OMG and I thought we had roach problem in our apartments.  If we don’t stay on top it would get real bad tho.  Thats horrible a residential feeds all those cats like that.  I lived  next to someone who did that.  The roof of the home had caved in as well.  The cats would just come on into our home like they owned the place.  Grrrrrr. We moved. We were renting.  Moved for other reasons as well 

NBO no Bam.  Awe hope you can find a way to keep him.

So I moved Bams cage into the buns room so they can get used to one another. Well I felt bad because I can’t just open his cage to let him and come and go as he pleases for exercise. So what I’ve been doing the last coupe nights is I get home from work. I go into the buns room and take Bams litter box and salad bowl into the living room. And then I go back and pick him up out of his cage and carry him out of the buns room and to the living room for him to get to stretch his legs a bit lol and eat his dinner too. It sucks he can’t go in and out of his cage at will but this will have to do until they get bonded lol

Let’s just say Bam looks FORWARD to being picked up now lol he’ll be on his hind legs trying to crawl up my arms when I go in there now because he knows it’s time to come out to play lol I’m holding him with one arm and a carrot in my other hand while were traveling to the living room lol he’s so easy to pick up now. Now catching him to go back…is difficult lol he’d much rather stay out to play. Oh! And since moving to the buns room when he’s out to play he doesn’t spend his time by the gate dividing him from the buns room lol before when he was housed in the living room that’s ALL he kept trying to do was get under the gate. Now? He doesn’t care to get to the other side lol

LBJ – when is your interview????? Are you still super keen for that job? My goodness – I’m so excited for you! I hope you still are…..

Why would it be a bad sign???? The fact that they called YOU after all this time and they are working with you to set up an interview cause you are currently employed are all great signs! Not that I’ve ever been an employer, but I would be more inclined and keen to interview someone who has great work ethics (doesn’t let the workplace down or take time off to sneak to another job interview), so I reckon your showing good morals there. I’m not sure if this is good advice, but besides showing off your education/academics, without going overboard – try and express this is the job ‘you want’! I found I was successful in my two favourite jobs cause I calmly (even though I was jumping out of my skin) expressed that I really wanted the job even though in both cases I wasn’t the best ‘educated’ candidate. One employer even told me that I was given the job because I was open to continue to learn ‘their way’ and if I enjoyed my work they wouldn’t have to worry about me moving on. BUT don’t put them off for too long with getting together for an interview – they may interpret that as not being keen. Keep us updated! Besides being excited for you, I have nervous butterflies in my tummy as I know how much you want to move on to bigger and better employment opportunities. Good luck LBJ!

The stray cat keeps sleeping in the logs by my house. I do have a trap, but it is too clever to go in. I think I will need to tame it a bit more first.
The neighbors asked me to feed their coy(fish) next week while they are away. Hahah that will be interesting.

When you start bringing in the BIG bucks LBJ, I’m sure your hubby will care then (mine did for the 2 years I was earning more than him, lol!). Your training a vulture and I’m ‘trying’ to teach/stop Henry from eating the dry dog food STILL! ( I just went crook at him and ended up picking the bowls up AGAIN!). My dog’s are ‘starving’!!!!!!

Great the girl I was venting about the other day about getting a rabbit with head tilt but refuses to get vet care. Well another of her rabbits is now showing signs of cancer. She’s bleeding and it has tissue in the blood. I told her she needs to be seen ASAP. But idk she just got ANOTHER rabbit today. And the one with head tilt still hasn’t been treated. And it’s hanging out in a FIVE GALLON aquarium. It can’t even turn around. It is able to walk around and eat and drink on it’s own so it is getting better. But she doesn’t have a cage for it so stuck it in an aquarium. But I think she’s moving it in with a guinea pig who had 3 babies a few days ago. But she just got another bunny and she just told me she has no cages. So idk how she’s having all these bunnies if she doesn’t have cages for them all *sigh* i give up, I’m calling animal control.

How much gas money should I charge for taking her bunny to the clinic. She doesn’t have a vehicle but her grandfather is helping with spay cost. It’s about 100 miles of driving there and back.

My middle son just woke up to find the Easter Bunny visited through the night and left a little surprise – Chocolate bunny and an egg (not bunny poop – my hubby got those, Henry pooped on top of his carrier/toilet this morning?) LOL!

Maybe you could affix the pics to a piece of paper (maybe even construction paper for added color?) 2 on each side? Then you could get a binder or a 3-prong folder and present it all in one booklet. That way it would definitely look like you did it on purpose.

I must be the only bunny owner who’s RABBIT ‘wants’ to eat dog food (and wash it down with a coke) Jami. My hubby put the bowl up on the bed (I know – GROSS!) while he thought Henry was busy, and the little bugga jumped up and grabbed a piece from the bowl (he is that quick) and jumped down with it. Yes, I took it off him (from his mouth), and said NO – but seriously, if I put the dog food outside the dog’s don’t eat enough and if I leave it inside Henry eats it. Shaking my head while ‘sighing’……

I can’t think of any other way around it for you, and you must be sick knowing how neglected they are along with their poor living conditions. I’m sure her intentions are good, but knowing that bunnies are living/surviving like that……

Yea, Henry is weird! When I do evening feeding, I got the scoop with the dog food, Bandit and Outlaw are dancing around in circles, with Bumpy kinda circle spinning to avoid beind trampled. LOL I stop at Bandit’s bowl, pour some in… Bumpy runs over to investigate… then looks around like wth? By this time I’m at Outlaw’s bowl -ting ting ting- Bumpy runs over, then kinda just sits there. I make my way back to the kitchen and Bumpy is running behind me, I fill his plate up and head to his pen, past Bandit, past Outlaw… before I am there, Bumpy has hopped into his pen and it standing there with his feet on the edge of the door.

Wanna swap manic???? HA HA! I just pulled another ‘Good O’ (dog food) from his mouth after a chase. If he had of run into his carrier (toilet) I would have let him keep it! (YUCK!), lol! And I just picked the bowl up again! I’m exhausted! I’d get it if the dog’s ate his food….. but they aren’t eating that bunny veggie/pellet crap, ha ha ha ha ha! So it’s official – I not only own the naughtiest bunny, but the weirdest tooooo!

Easter Egg coloring and dog food eating bunnies.  hahahaha   Don’t they know they are supposed to be vegetarians   Sometimes bunnies just don’t make any sense 

OMG the roaches are everywhere and so many of them.  Called my neighbor.  Can’t tell anyone who but come to find out that water leak in the wall was between downstairs neighbor and the one that was infested with roaches.  Since that wall and leak was started have had roaches like mad.  That man there does not clean after himself in the kitchen.  Stove is filthy wall is covered in grease.  I could cry. 

I have been killing roaches like crazy day AND night.  I could cry. Bought Bengal.  Pulled my stove out  cleaned floor and wall. I keep kitchen clean after every meal dishes are done.  At night same thing plus stove and if anything on walls that is cleaned so I know it wasn’t me.  I couldn’t figure out why so many. Now I know. 

Also pulled out plastic bowl under sink and sprayed.  The spray without using straw is like a fogger. I shut  cabiner door sprayed in food closet shut that door.  Went back later when spray settled. Put stuff back.  Situation is so much better. 

Today I am going to pull everything out from under sink cabinets all of it. Clean up dead roaches which will probably be some from spraying and spray again shut doors let it settle and put everything back.  Counters are clean will clean them again n spray. 

I was killing them by my foot in my bedroom.  I never seen them in my bedroom before.  I just hope n pray they don’t get into Cottons cage n litterbox. The box by the door I killed 2 roaches there. Haven’t seen any there since for I sprayed under the rug let it settle mopped around the rug and put his litterbox back.  Oh I could just cry. 

Never seen them this bad before. Ever. I got contact roach baits the black things. I know contact works great.  The gel. Since bugman put gel all over already i got baits. Haven’t seen dead roaches like I did with combat gel. Nor with bengal unless i spray them directly.  Have to open windows to make sure the smell goes away and it dries so cotton n I don’t get fumed out.   

          HELP

 Speaking of bunnies n strange appetites. Last nite I had some juice cranberry n apple in a little glass.  Cotton come a begging.  I put it on the floor the glass.  

Didn’t think he would like it.  He started drinking it.  He likes it.   Oh dear.  lol.  It was real sour so I don’t think it had that much sugar  but I took it away from him anyway.  Little fuzz.  

Gotta get busy clean litterboxes cleaned his house yesterday and work in kitchen here.  Won’t get started browsing BB.    I keep procrastinating.  

Time for some music and get to work………

NBO, perhaps you can congratulate them on their gorgeous buns and tell them how much great information you find useful and direct them here and other places that will be helpful to making them better bunny slaves. Hopefully they are reasonable and are willing and able to learn and properly care for them.

It’s 8.20am and I just jumped on to wish you luck today LBJ – but I was too late, bugga! I’m sure you did well, and at least that’s over with now. Just gotta wait for the call back…. ho hum. Did they give you any idea how long till they do?

Back from shopping – I spent so much that my last transaction declined cause I exceeded my daily limit, how embarrassing?!?! I HATE shopping and have been preparing/adding to this shopping list for the last couple of months and I was determined to come home with everything on my list (I don’t want to have to go back again). The hubby (on holiday’s) got hungry at lunch time, so I grabsbed him a roll from the bakery and made him eat while we walked/shopped, LOL! Now I have to unpack it all – did I say I hated shopping? The worse part…. we have to go back either tomorrow or the next to buy groceries. OVER IT! So I’m having a breather and some BB time before I get started.
LBJ, I hope you said ‘if I’m successful, I just have to give (?) weeks notice and I can start the next day’! And I know exactly what you mean about AFTER the interview, thinking I should of said this, and I could have said that. But I reckon you prepared wonderfully, and I’m sure the employer must know to give everyone a bit of leeway for nerves. Gosh, now we are all going to be anxious waiting to hear if you got it!

Enlightened a few people on the reality of that particular video this weekend Stickerbunny… It absolutely makes my blood boil when I see it… There is a full on campaign rolling into action using that video as the poster child for stupid and ignorant things people do to Rabbits and Other Animals to get trash to post on Youtube…

I know Stickerbunny – another reason why I don’t do facebook! But sadly that is the way of our NEW world…..

I bought BORING stuff Amanda….. Things like jumper’s for my son, slipper’s for us both, flannelette sheets/blankets, etc., – I threw everything out after last winter cause it all needed replacing years ago and I kept using it, ha ha ha. So by throwing it out last year I ‘HAD’ to replace it! Oh, and new door mats (the one’s that trap Henry’s fluff and can be washed in the washing machine), a knife sharpener (thought it would be cheaper than buying new knives) – didn’t I say it was boring, LOL! I shouldn’t complain – “I” got a new warm fluffy dressing gown (with spots), a new pair of jeans and below the knee boots with no heel, ALL on SALE – WOO HOO! ha ha ha ha…… I think I’m ready for winter? I’m finally feeling Autumn, the morning’s are cool.
The hubby didn’t miss out – he got a new drink bottle to take to work, lol! And the youngest son that moved out – I bought him flannelette sheets too (cause I threw his bare threaded one’s out as well, ha ha), and if I didn’t buy them for him – I bet he wouldn’t and would freeze. But I’m not silly (not all the time anyway lol), it’s his birthday next week and the sheets are being wrapped up for his birthday present – sucks being a grown up and getting stuff you NEED as gifts?!?!?! Oh, and he’s also getting his ticket to see the ‘Lion King’ in November and the usual ‘men’s gift’ – undies and socks! HA HA HA……

Can’t stop the giggling fits at the moment…. Been having trouble with the neighbours taking greater and greater liberties with my property from cars all over my lawn and blocking my drive, rubbish under my car port all sorts of things… I finally snapped the other week and they took offence… Well, I was beyond caring about their feelings and sick of my property being treated like their extension… They have been building an open courtyard out front for entertaining as their back yard is feral and full of dog poo…. It’s coming along nicely and does compliment the street, even if it’s not something I would build, and they have pulled their heads in a bit (guilt does that to you) Coming down my drive last night the penny finally dropped about what looked wrong with the courtyard and I burst out laughing, Karma is sometimes self fulfilling… Park toward the rear centre of the now fully enclosed courtyard with narrow gate opening and no walls lower than 4 feet and most at 8 feet is their box trailer nestled inconspicuously behind a chair and some other items…. There is no back gate even if there was they have put an 8 ft high fence across that part too… I wonder how long it is till someone needs to use the trailer and realises it is now a permanent garden feature (failing a crane to lift it out) LOL… Giggling again… Must get photo’s….. Hehhehehehe

Now that’s funny Roberta! How dumb to fence in the trailer? Ha ha ha….. Don’t you just love KARMA!

Oh and bunnytowne, how awful of me – I meant to reply to your post way before today, sorry! YUCK – cockroaches! I think it’s the worst ever if you have them yourself, but to have to tolerate them because of a neighbour and you yourself keep a clean house, I’d be furious too! The guy who does our pest spray every year has been awesome in the past but this year I’m still seeing the odd cockroach/bug and I’m super not happy! I’ve been saying to the hubby I must give him a call and get him back, but it’s so annoying cause we all (especially Henry) have to be outside for a few hours, why I have been putting it off, it’s such an inconvenience to have to do twice in one year! Wishing you good luck with a solution to your bug and neighbour problem BT – cheers.

I haven’t been on BB in what seems like forever! I’ve been so busy with things and then it seemed like one thing after another just kept happening. Then on Easter Sunday, someone I know was involved in a motorcycle accident and he didn’t make it… So sad and he was only 21. The viewing is this Thursday and the funeral is Friday and we are closing the salon early so we can go. The boy that died was actually the cousin of one of the girls who works with me, but we are all close with the family.

On a happier note, LBJ I hope you hear good news on that job!

I saw so many ads campaigning against bunnies as Easter gifts on Facebook. I shared so many of them I’m sure everyone got sick of looking at them but no one I know got a bunny or chick for Easter! I did see that bunny bath video too but it was also heavily marked as ‘do not do’. I shared that too like crazy!

And bunnytowne having a roach problem is probably the worst! They are so creepy and gross I can’t imagine being in your shoes, especially since it’s not your fault but your neighbors! Hopefully where you live that they aren’t too big though… In Florida they get quite large and fly… :/ gives me the heebie jeebies just thinking about it!

I know. Still seems so unreal. I feel so sorry for the girl who was also involved. She is being blamed for the accident when really it was HIS fault. She is constantly getting death threats and being referred to as a murderer. She is 17 and can’t return to school because the school cannot garrentee her safety. Such a sad situation all around.

On a happier note Archery should be starting back up again, so that will be fun. I’m anxious to shoot again…just targets of course

Channel 5 are doing a new show called ‘The Secret Life of Pets’ where they film from a pets-eye-view what they get up to, and they’re interested in Luna and Teddy!

I am so angry. The roaches have settled down gone back into the wall for the most part. Phew. Oh I saw something move from the corner of my eye. I looked was a roach crawling on my shirt sleeve WHILE I WAS WEARING IT.    What has me angry is    there were teeny tiny ones in Cottons litterbox in his cage when I cleaned it 2 days ago.  So angry. I will be checking it everyday.  If there are some I will clean it immediately. I cleaned his house too. Didn’t see any there.  His house gets cleaned on saturdays but I did this all on wednesday cuz I saw them in his litterbox which I clean them both on wednesdays.  The other one was clear of them. 

I will not allow my bunny to live this way.  I wonder if he knew they were in there and ate any from the hay in his litterbox.  I dont’ even want to think about it. 

Otherwise all is fine. Cotton enjoyed his run outside these last 2 days. He hops on the little table and gets his leash off. I think he is telling me he wants to go outside little cutie.  

He pokes my foot when I eat at the table for snacks n treats.  He is eating the hair n coat vitamins I ordered from BB. He likes them.  When it is time for his bedtime he runs around to get my attention to get his go to bed bribes hahahaha. 

Back to Dance Moms I been watching    the seasons and episodes on lifetime.

I so get what your saying LBJ. I ‘used’ to worry about what my in-laws thought of me – and WHY? Not anymore – I haven’t seen mine for years! And the funniest part…. they wonder why? Treat me like I’m not good enough…. gggrrrrrr! ha ha ha hah. So I chose years ago not to see them anymore.
With my kids and their partners, it will never matter what I ‘think’ of them, cause I will always treat them like they are perfectly wonderful for as long as my kids love them.
And I can’t believe the job you so desperately want rang to discuss what days you are able to work, getting your hopes up and your still waiting to hear if you even got it? I would be going insane!!!!!! No, your not being selfish – the anxiety your feeling sounds totally normal to me!

LHB is that Patches.  Oh how adorable.  And Raven. I had to look for him.  hahahaha. He is like a big shadow.  Looking comfy. 

Oh in-laws.  They can be horrid.  LBJ you don’t need to prove anything to your in-laws.  Your hubby loves you that is enuf. In-laws can really suck. Then some people have great ones.  I get angry with my neice cuz she won’t let me bring Cotton and he stay in his cage and not run around in her house so I can visit with them and enjoy going places with hubby and Cotton.  So I get left out now that we found out Cotton won’t do good being stuck in his large cabrio pet carrier or being tied to it in the masjid.

And you still haven’t heard about whether the new place will hire you or not sheesh.  Talk about leaving you hanging.  I say call them.  At least you would know.  Don’t know how you feel about doing that tho.

Bug problem has improved tremendously I am glad to say.   Now the bathroom sink is clogged and overflowing.  IT is connected to neighbors kitchen sink.     I have towels all over.  Called housing 2x.  Maintenance is not coming til Monday. They say is not an emergency.  The lady who takes the calls isn’t happy with that and did her best to get them out here.  Said she is sorry. I went to neighbor asked her to call.  She usually can get them out here.  Well at least now I know I can take a shower and not worry about maintenance walking in on me.  That would be very embarassing hahahaha   

We have lot of problems with pipes and backing up here.        I am all caught up on Dance Moms episodes I missed.  Watched some of season 3 I saw before with that little package of dynomite Asia.  I really liked her.  She has career in hollywood and so on .  So I thought.  I wish she would come back. Anyway

Oh really good neighbor in next building passed 4 days ago.  He was 90.  His wife has alzheimers and forgets he passed.  So we let her. The daughter is here. The other children will probably come too. I went to offer condolences to the family and the son in law came outside and Ms. Tilly the widow came and the man said no Tilly that I had just seen Pete walking he went for a walk so I got the hint and played along. 

That man will be missed.  So will Ms. Tilly.  They have a great sense of humor and were really close. The family will be taking Tilly back up north with them.  She can’t stay alone and  of course they will want her close by.  Why couldn’t it be the mean people that go. 

My life has forever changed. And it’s one of those things that you can’t tell anyone about so it’s just bottling up inside me. I can’t sleep anymore, my mind is racing. It’s so weird how in one second. Just ONE second, your life changes so quickly. So much. And it’s hard to wrap my head around it. Send me good vibes. Please.

Bunny Lady yes archery  We had that at my school when I was young.  Sounds fun. I enjoyed it too.

Roberta the neighbors fenced in their box trailer and won’t be able to get it out?  Ohhh too funny.  

Just as I was going to take a shower the neighbor knocked and the maintenance came to snake out her drain and it fixed mine cuz they are connected.  Why do they come when she calls but not when I call.  Hmpf. Well at least they came.

the roaches are german roaches.  They dont fly.   Thr flying ones are palmetto bugs.  (roaches)   I see dead ones lately and the occassional live one nothing like before.  Cottons litterbox is clear.  The bugs pretty much cleared out.  I used Bengal spray and hubbys friend in pest control said combat bait works on this kind and sure enuf.    For anyone else having problems this also works and is all natural:   put baking soda and sugar on a plate or whatnot.  They will eat.  Make sure they get water too.  The water will make the baking soda expand and explode their stomaches.  Or put vaseline on a plate n sugar in it.  The bugs will come to eat the sugar n get stuck in the vaseline.  ick Id rather not hahahaha dont want to see them

Hope this helps others who may have problems with occassional bugs.  (roaches)

Seeing it is still technically April with BB (even though I’m happy that Roberta got in with the May chat forum Aussie time, ha ha ha), yes! I love true crime bunnytowne. I have pay tv (which I HATE paying for each month) for the ‘crime’ channel. I’m not sure if we get the same shows in OZ? And I have many favourites – at the moment I’m indulging in ‘crimes that shook Australia’ as I think I have read all the books, but it’s another insight when you get to hear from the families first hand. Just terrible! I think my fascination is ‘understanding’ how people can be so cruel. I don’t get it and I’m sure I never will – but yer, how can some humans be so cruel?

Bunnytowne I like shows like that. They are so interesting, but sometimes scary if you watch them at night when your home alone! Lol.
