Tenshi is an uneutered male rabbit. he is at least two and a half years old.
Jamie is a neutered male cat, and is nearly 7 months old.
I havent been able to practice the bonding rituals as much as i hoped to because of family issues. However, I dont think I had to. Although they have not had much time togethrr lately, the two of them seem to be co-existing pretty well, and I didnt have as much to worry about as I thought. Tenshi seems to be very close to the cat, althought the cat is somewhat afraid of him. Tenshi went under the table to sit with Jamie, and Jamie scurried away. At the same time, the cat seems interested in Tenshi. I often catch the two of them sitting on opposite sides of the rabbit’s room door sniffing noses, then going their seperate ways.
Although they seem to be getting along, the cat worries me. He likes to put his paws on EVERYTHING; its the way he examines stuff.( he even does that when i give him something simple, like a peice of chicken) He has a habit of lifting a paw, trying to touch Tenshi’s face. I usually stop him, because I dont know how the rabbit will react to kitty paws in his face. Also, the cat will sometimes sit on the floor, his tail twitching like crazy, and his eyes following Tenshi’s every move. He can be very wish-washy; afraid of the rabbit one moment, and wanting to paw at his face the next. Should I be worried?
