  Someone please help me, flash is 7 months waiting to get spayed but she’s SO loud at night! Her cage flood thumps, she scratches her hay mats she jumps around. I don’t mind but it’s my partner who cares he yells at her all night and he’s at the point he wants to take her back any help would be awesome I don’t know what to do anymore

  Tell your partner he needs to sleep on the lounge! The bunny stays! ha ha ha… just joking! On a serious note, can your bunny sleep in an other room? Sorry, but bunnies, including mine are most active through the night/early morning – Henry even chewed on my singlet while I was wearing it and asleep! I have also woken up to chewed tissues on my bedside table (he had to cross my head/pillow to get to it – how scary is that?). Being free range, he doesn’t wake me with noise, but the damage is enough to make me reconsider his bedtime???? I’m just trying to say bunnies get into all sorts of trouble while we sleep, and if your bun can’t get out and about, she’s gonna make noise to keep herself entertained. That’s my experience anyway. Sorry I couldn’t be more positive or offer a solution (other than to kick your partner out of the room, LOL!). In our house the bunny comes first! (and that’s not ME talking – my hubby! and he reckons he doesn’t like him/Henry????). Ha ha ha ha…. Cheers Ashleyann1313.

  Once she is spayed she will settle a little bit and be less boisterous… If you can let her out for a good exercise session in the early evening and morning it will help. At my place it’s like a herd of wildebeest stampeding through the house at dawn, I have 8… I have learned to love the noise…I would suggest some quieter toys but bunnies love things that crinkle plonk rattle or ping…. Although a nice plushie toy would give her something to groom… They are at there noisiest under 12 months so if he can just persevere a little longer it should ease off.

  Thanks everyone! I showed him this! He is a little more considerate now I’m gonna try and give her that big late night and early morning exercise! Any good tips that will tire her out?

  Lots of space to run and some neat toys like baby stacking cups that she can toss about… A big soft plushie toy she can dominate and a cat tunnel to run through… Possibly some boxes to destroy and climb on…

  Don’t feel bad, my two free roam kids tear thru my apt like a pack of wild hyenas at 4am every morning-never fails! The noise they make is unbelievable!! Then they think mommas bed is a trampoline! I’m learning to sleep thru this, what else can I do? The kids rule, lol!
