Ohhh, no, definitely don’t get one of those!
First of all, the minimum space that a single bun must have at all times is 4ft by 2 ft, but this is really the bare minimum for a small bunny. Two would need twice that.
The area of this cage is approximately 6ft by 3 ft.
I personally would strongly advise against this kind of cage for a few reasons. I’m also going to add that I used to own one of these (for keeping chickens – I wouldn’t advise it for them either).
1) Do your bunnies live outside? We would advise they be kept inside for many reasons which I shan’t go in to now. If they live inside, I don’t know why you’d want a house like this.
So I’m going to assume as I go on that you are keeping them outdoors.
2) It’s not very big. Especially as you have two bunnies.
3) The space that is sheltered (the plastic bit) is especially small – in cold weather/rain, or if you plan to shut them in at night, there isn’t much room for them.
4) Price!!
It’s very expensive for what it is (a tiny house with a run attached).
5) You have to move it like everyday because it destroys your garden (this may or may not be an issue, I don’t know!)
If I were you, I’d try to keep the bunnies indoors. If you can’t, I’d suggest you look for the biggest accommodation for them you can find for your budget (I’m sure you will find much bigger than this).
Hope this helps!
