Hello
I’m new to binki bunnies so please forgive me if there is already a topic on this…
I have a male bunny (Pogo) and a female bunny (Hula) we got Pogo first when he was 8 weeks old and then Hula about 2 weeks later when she was 9 weeks old. They bonded really well when we first introduced them. We had to separate them after a few weeks when Pogo began mounting Hula. We had separate cages side by side and we still let them play together supervised so to try to keep the bond. We got Pogo neutered when he was 16 weeks, when we reintroduced them a day or two later Hula stared attacking Pogo and nipping at his testicles. so we kept them separate until we had hula spayed. Hula was spayed about 2 weeks ago and they seemed to have re-bonded nicely so we put them back in the same hutch. Up until last night when Hula tried to mount Pogo. I pulled her off and thought nothing more of it but then early this morning we were woken up to them having a scrap. We put them back together and they were fine, but just now Hula tried to mount Pogo again… it didn’t end in a scrap but he wasn’t impressed. Can some one please help? Can the dominance shift between the bunnies and them still live happily? I’m unsure what to do?
Thanks in advance.
