  So, I went into the studio last night and came away with this because I just so desperately want summer! Or at least a vacation! All of you in Australia will probably wish I painted a winter pic seeing as though your weather has been so hot LOL! And, not to worry, I’m going back to the studio on Sunday to work on the bunny pic. I’ll post pics of that as soon as it is finished too.

  we’re getting the leftover storms from california (but luckily more intermittent and not as heavy),,, its been almost 3 months since the last rain here

  We are having record cold here. I guess March 1st has been cold in the past, but not THIS cold. It feels like January. Stupid groundhog.

  That’s gorgeous Kbana! I wish summer was here too… it’s snowy and -9C here I wish it was at least snowy enough to go sledding. But no… can’t wait until the nice weather!

  It’s been cold here the last couple of nights. I just want spring so I can get the garden going again and, some of this rain will finally let up. My yard is a mud pit right now from all of the rain we’ve had.

  We’ve begun spring here, it’s been a very mild winter. Last year we’d snow until mid-April, this is better.

  We have had 60+ inches of snow and 5 more on the way tonight. Plus two polar vortexes. So over it! LOL!

  Sorry they are so BIG! (why? ha ha ha…. who knows when it comes to me and posting pic’s). As promised Kate – some of my son’s artworks. He used acrylic paints (like a crayon?) I’m sure YOU know what I mean? Lol! Hope you like them? Cheers!

  Oh he is very talented! If he was using something like a crayon I am thinking it was an oil pastel? I love working with those. Though they look like quite large pieces so that would have taken forever LOL! Awesome! Of course I don’t mind! Art is awesome.

  Sorry to say but I don’t mind if summer is pushed back lol. Down here it gets unbearably hot and humid. Everyone becomes vampires during that time and only come out at night. Also the mosquitoes make it unpleasant going outside as well.

  justwildbeat – I’m dreading the mosquitoes and ticks. They are usually pretty bad where I work in April/May. If things start drying out though, then they are less of a problem come June. Then July and August are too hot and they go away. LOL When the mosquitoes are bad, I have to cover every inch of myself in bug spray. They go for the face, the part in my hair, my hands, etc.

  We’ve had around 100 inches of snow this winter here in Michigan, and I think it is FINALLY starting to get a tiny glimpse of spring! We still have a lot of snow piled up, but atleast its starting to slowly warm up. The high was 48 degrees F today!

  We’ve had a few false starts here at spring and I’m desperate for summer.
  I start all my plants from seed and that’s helped me cope with the ongoing winter, at least I get to garden a little. I have about 200 seedlings (about 30 varieties of flowers and vegetables) going. But I just can’t wait. It’s been a long hard winter!

  I wish I could garden. It is a running joke in my classroom that when I get a plant from a student I have to immediately give it to someone else or I’ll kill it. Seriously…plants have been known to expire in my care within a matter of hours! LOL!
  
  I have been shopping for summer clothes since I’m going to Mexico to escape this weather in two weeks! I can’t wait!!! We will only be gone three days but I am so darn excited to see the sun!!!!

We BBer’s (March Chat) have decided to meet up with our bun’s at the Disney resort pool in Hawaii! I can count you in? Al won’t need budgie smugglers/DT’s seeing he has nothing to display anymore, ha ha ha….. (Henry is going nude toooo).

  ha ha Andi, budgie smugglers!! ha ha! Wouldn’t it be so fun to take a trip with all our buns?! I’m in! And I can send you some clothes for sure! I have 4 closets. It’s an addiction! My hubby would be all too happy to get rid of them! Ha ha!!

  Lionel is going nude too, and Asha is going to wear her white fur coat. I think Roxy is going to wear something however as she still has no fur on the stomach from her spay and she wants to be modest with all her new friends around.
