Okay guys I need some advice. Today I let Butters(male, holland lop, 9 months) and Fluffers(new pet rabbit, super sweet, 3 months old, lionhead) in the same room. I kept Fluffers in the hutch while Butters was running around the room so he could get his scent without attacking him. They both kept looking at eachother through the cage. Fluffers was fine but Butters started running around in circles pooping and letting out small grunts (like the kind he does when I pet him or give him a treat.) once they got enough of each other’s scent I put Butters back out in the hutch in a different room and kept Fluff in the one in my room. Is this a sign Butters will be aggressive to him? Will they get along? I am worried because they’re both unfixed males.. My mom keeps saying Butters is going to hate me now.
. I know getting another male was a bad idea but I had already picked out Fluffers and I thought he was female. I am too in love with my bun to give him up now! Will they just have to live their lives separated from one another until they are neutered?
