Any one using or used fodder. I plan to grow and add it to my rabbits diet.

I’ve seen a few setups for it (wheat grass mostly) and would like to get into it as well. The only thing I have done so far, was grow basil and cilantro in 14″ pots. Once they were at a nice size I placed them in his penned area (looked so pretty!!) and he would nibble at them occasionally. Time to get more started!

I gave Yohio a pot plant of mint on New Year’s and it lasted like 5 minutes. It was just a small pot and I hadn’t grown it myself, though. I just grow stuff outdoors during season. But if you can’t get fresh greens of good quality during winter or for other reasons, it’s of course lovely for the bunnies to get homegrown greens.

What do you have in the containers where there’s nothing green (yet?)? What do you use instead of earth?

I think that’s the actual seed. Like oats or barley or something, maybe wheat grass. At least from other photos of similar setups, that was what they seemed to be. Like they would just throw some in and have it watered/sprayed and it just grows. Though I’m just running on assumption!

                  Aha, like bean-sprouts. Thanks!
