        Hi,

So my rabbits has been rolling over when he is playing and they said that is a sign of playfulness is that right?? What the main question is when she rolls over she starts licking the ground while she is laying on her side is that ok?? Why is she doing that??

        Thank You

Yes, it’s a sign your rabbit is feeling relaxed and content.
I *think* the licking just makes them feel good by releasing endorphins. I usually see them licking the front paw but I have seen then lick the ground too.
          It’s fine. : )
I’ve also seen rabbits flop as a way to calm down.

Sometimes you’ll see them really zone out. I’ve seen my lop Rumball do this twice in the last day and I’ve had to stop to check he’s breathing!

Haha the first time I saw my bunny do this I almost cried because he literally threw himself over on his side and closed his eyes and i thought he DIED. He didn’t do it until he was about 6 months, but he does it all the time (with varying amounts of force behind the flop). It is called a “bunny flop” and my bun always grooms his paws whilst flopping now.

Yep! Same Jersey and Kat9055 – nothing worse than not being able to take a breath yourself while your waiting for your bunny too! Naughty bunny’s tricking us like that!
Licking???? Be grateful he is licking your floor – my boy licks the bottom of my shoe! (At least your floors get cleaned, my shoes don’t). I’ve started to put my shoes up when I take them off. See, another thing I do now that I own a bunny that I didn’t do before! Dam bunny! ha ha ha hah…

Usako used to lick giant wets spots on our microfiber couch when we lived at a condo.
