i was brushing my bunny bentley and didnt realize the fur brush had chopped the whiskers on his left side of his face in half.. the ones on the right side are normal length, and when the brush made them snap in half he didnt freak out or anything like he does when i cut his nails. will the whiskers grow back ? should i be worried that theyve been cut?

It’s fine. They’re just hairs that are to sense direction and night and to fit through things. They will grow back in.

Yes, as CBL says, they grow back. Bam once scorched his whiskers off on a tea-light. They grew back.

I actually have to trim Meadow’s whiskers from time to time. She’s a mini rex (they have curly whiskers!) and sometimes I’ll notice that one has curled up funny and is poking her in the eye. They will definitely grown back :o)
