Yesterday I finally moved house. Hooray!
My new housemates are a little uneasy about having a bunny inside so he’s living in my room for now. The landlord was completely fine with it though so that’s great. Luckily my new room is huge! Rufus has about 4x the amount of playing space as he had in my previous house. It’s also got really short pile industrial carpet so he can’t do too much damage
He had a rough car ride over there, it was about an hour drive and my aircon in the car broke last week. He was looking a little overheated despite having an icebottle in his carrier. He seems to have settled in well though and has been eating like a horse.
Watching him explore the huge new room (which is still full of boxes and bags from the move) is hilarious. He’s so overstimulated he can’t decide what to smell first so he’s been racing around climbing on top of and under everything squeezing through all the little passageways and generally having a great time. I have only been letting him out for half an hour or so in a go so he doesn’t over do it. As soon as I put him back in his cage he flops over and goes straight to sleep. So cute! At the moment I just have a mattress on the floor so he’s loving the easy access to the bed and is using it as a trampoline to do extra high binkies.
I’ll post some exploring pics once I have my wifi up and running.
