I have a new bunny!  I’m really excited about it all.

I was beginning to think about getting another and I was looking at rescues when I saw these bunnies for sale and I couldn’t resist! You all know how much I love giant bunnies…
You see, my bun’s dad is Darius, Guinness world record holder for biggest bunny in the world. 

The lady who owns Darius is really really lovely, and she takes good care of her rabbits, although their diet isn’t great in my opinion. She’s had a couple of record holders and Darius is the current one. 
They get so big because she breeds big rabbits with other big rabbits, so there’s nothing dodgy going on. 

(I know this is an awful way to hold a rabbit, but newspapers don’t care I guess  
The world record is based on length not weight so stop people overfeeding.
Darius is 4ft 4 inches long! (when lying down obviously) 

So, on to my new baby!
He is a he (we’re fairly sure this time) and called Theodore (So Theo, Dore, Dori, Teddy) I like calling him Teddy best. 
He is 8 weeks old, so a real baby, but he’s already huge!
Here he is at just a few weeks old with one of his sisters:

He’s already pretty much the same size as Luna, who is fairly hefty herself!

Sorry for all the mess, the cage has to be set up in quite a specific way to keep a barrier between him and Loony.

He’s so sweet, I love his huge ears  He’s pretty happy and inquisitive, especially considering the monster next door (Luna), but he’s pretty scared of me so far. 
His feet are ENORMOUS, you can tell he’s going to be big when he’s grown! (I’m so excited)

We’re going to the vet tomorrow for vaccinations and check ups, and I’ve put him on the insurance already. 
He’s so lovely, I love giant bunnies, and I think it’s pretty cool that he’s kind of a celebrity, haha!
