I was giving the buns their nail trims and noticed that at the nail bed, or whatever you would call where nail meets paw, there are some pink/red… things? Kinda circular? I saw an old thread and someone said that it could just be the paw “pad”… it wasn’t really conclusive and didn’t put me at ease at all

I was wondering if this was normal, and if anyone had pictures of their cutie bunny feet?

Also the type of litterbox we have been using are the ones with the cage top so they’re not sitting in their poop like this

Not sure if this would affect their little feet as well? Anything would help, I guess I’m just worried :T

Hmmm….kind of hard to picture what you are describing. Could you post a picture?

It sounds like the quick of the nail if I’m understanding what you are saying.

I’m at work right now but I can try to snap another picture today if they’ll permit

Sarita – If I understand correctly, the quick is the vein that runs inside of the nail correct? If so, then nope this isn’t it. It’s red and I guess the best way to describe it is kind if a blister (although I hope it’s not!!!)? It’s not in the nail, it is at the base of it… hope this helps a little until I’m able to get pictures…
