Hi Valisa – congrats on your new baby! I’m not sure where you live in Australia – just take care with our heatwaves (if they are affecting you) with baby bunny being outdoors. The quicker you can get baby to the vet and indoors the better. She/he sounds adorable – and for ‘it’ (sounds terrible, ha ha ha, so I’ll go with your ‘she’) to let you pat for her for so long, I reckon she will be super friendly and a perfect addition to your family. I hope Sheldon adores her as much as you seem to already – such a lucky baby bunny! Can’t wait for the pic’s! and a name???? But I’m sure you are waiting to see what ‘it’ (lol) is. And remember if you have any problems with bonding everyone here will be ready and eager to help you out. In the meantime, keep us all updated on her visit to the vet etc., and all the info the vet may be able to suggest to you in relation to her sex, age, breed and whether she has been spayed/ neutered. Your new bun is so pretty! I love the coloring! =D She looks very faintly pointed, but that pattern can be found in a lot of bunnies.

Hmmm hopefully he finds a tattoo if she has actually been spayed. That’s what my vet did was added a small tattoo. That way when the vet shaves her down they’ll notice she’s been “marked” and stop the procedure. It’s a pretty common thing to do now so hopefully, if she is in fact spayed, they did that. She is gorgeous btw! Do you know for sure it’s a female? Or is that just what your friend is assuming? How did your friend get her? If she was just nonchalantly placed outside to live I don’t see them taking the resources and time to spay her unless she was a rescue bunny and then your friend adopted her. Although they usually require said bunny to be indoors.
