  I keep disappearing for a while on here, so busy! But I’ve been bunny sitting Bunny for 4 mos, if anyone remembers, he was given to my ex by his friend who went to college & had no time for him, then I got him for 4mos after my ex also went to college.
  
  Bunny’s original owner was going to take him back when the 4mos was up but decided to let me find him a home. I searched many places, I didn’t want to keep him because he was being a little stinker & Mimzy has not been happy since he’s been here! My room is divided with a gate so they each have their own play space & separate play times. Bunny has begun to be very very sweet he just randomly finally stole my heart after all these months, I found a lady who wanted him & then I changed my mind! So Bunny is staying, they’ve started the bonding process in the tub
  
  Mimzy gets a little feisty in the tub though, there’s been no mounting or aggression. They leave each other alone for the most part but from the very first session, they stick pretty close to each other! Bunny is completely 100% submissive to her, I also tried the rubbing a little bit of banana on Bunny’s head so Mimzy would groom him. She has nipped at him a couple times in the tub which I then squirt her with water but it’s gone really well! I also put them in the stroller together & went for a short walk, it went perfect, they cuddled so much & it was adorable to see them like that

  UPDATE! Just need a quick opinion. Mimzy & Bunny have been doing pretty good bonding. I’ve been putting the pen outside as well when the weather is nice enough for them, Mimzy still has a little bit of dominance going on but a huge majority is them cuddling, flopping, grooming, or just ignoring each other & laying there.
  However, Mimzy must have been grumpy when I put them in the cage a couple days ago & was going after Bunny, he has a small cut on his face now, it’s healing & he’s ok. She hasn’t done that since. There is still a tiny bit of chasing but it’s calmed down now.
  
  So my question is, Bunny is very gentle when grooming Mimzy, Mimzy also grooms Bunny a lot but she’s a little more rough with it. She seems to have an obsession with his ears, she’ll groom them, nibble a little bit which he doesn’t mind but then she’ll bite/nip his ears & he flinches away. This happens a lot in this order, will she stop doing this eventually & be more gentle? Should I wait to move onto the next step (semi-neutral territory) until she’s not rough with him anymore?
  
  Aside from the ears thing, they’ve been really good today, no chasing & just laying together.

  Some bunnies are just rough groomers. She may learn from his reaction that she’s hurting him though. She isn’t causing any injury when she does this is she? This isn’t the same, but sometimes when Wooly would groom my arm he would nibble (like a dog chewing on an itchy spot) and I would go “OW”. He would immediately stop and look at me.

  No injuries, his ears have no marks on them, hopefully she’ll stop doing that soon then, thanks! I’m sure it’s got to be quite annoying to him lol

  I’d like to officially introduce Mimzy & Bunny – fully bonded!! I am *so* happy they’re finally bonded! I deep cleaned everything because I was paranoid lol, but they’ve been caged together for a full 24 hours, about to go for their 2nd night together in their condo
