When was he neutered? Is he still pooping? Just to clarify, are you currently force feeding him? If he is accustomed to eating any leafy veggies, I would make sure they are nice and wet and see if he will at least nibble those, will help make sure he’s getting some water too.
Bumpy was well-behaved before his neuter and only had the territorial poo-marking all around his pen. After the neuter, the poo explosions began to encompass smaller and smaller areas, right beside his box. It’s been 3 months now, he still doesn’t 100% use the box for poo (which I hear is very normal) but his random droppings are almost always next to the litterbox. Other than that (which is nothing!), he seems to be pretty much the same little guy. Hard to really tell since technically he’s just reached maturity. He was a bit quiet and not as enthusiastic about eating for only a day or so after his neuter.
I think as long as he is at least nibbling, he’d keep his gut moving and should be fine until his soreness eases up and he feels more himself. Hoping someone with more experience will answer soon!
