Pascal and I have started clicker training together!
What I’ve learnt so far;
If clicking in a different room or more isolated space…take a litter tray with you! (Duh!) Pascal’s little face of shame as he looked at me and weed on the floor (‘sorry Mama, but there’s no toilet in here!’)
So far I’m really enjoying clicking, I’m only doing it with Pascal at the moment because Patsy is so hormonally driven right now she just hasn’t the attention span for it, once the spay is over and she’s recovered I’ll start working with her too!
I’m loving the one-to-one time it gives us. Plus, it’s so nice to bring a bit of normality back to our relationship – buns are teenagers now but Pascal is more settled and I think he’s thriving on the challenge!
So, I think we’ve more or less established that click means treat, but I’ll pawn a little while longer reinforcing this.
Then…where do we go?! Is love to know what you guys and your buns learnt next!
I’ve read you can clicker train to have their nails trimmed which I’m VERY keen to do, but maybe I should start with more fun, playful things?
