  Lucky is going on his first dates today! The rescue said he could meet 4-5 other rabbits, and see how he does. I really like the earless rabbit pair, but apparently they were only neutered dec 12th, and she thinks they might not be a good match because of hormones still But, I’d be willing to wait, especially if there are no prospects today.
  
  My almost 4 year old son, when he learned of the “dates” Lucky gets to go on, said “I know, Lucky should wear a super hero shirt for his dates!” lol, giving dating advice to a rabbit cracked me up.

  Is there a chance that you will be getting the earless pair? I know it was possible last week, and if you really are going to, then I would recommend waiting until their hormones die down and begin the bonding process with Lucky.
  If you think you might not take them, I guess it would be good to go on Dates. Just be prepared that if the unusual happens – love at first sight – you may be taking home a rare but happy pair right away. In that case, were you thinking of having all 4 bunnies?
  
  Your son made me realize why the guys who date at my age (ahem, older than 4) dress like geeks. Super hero shirts are impressive on anyone younger than high school age.

  I very much wanted Lucky to meet the earless pair, but they had been neutered in december and they were all worried about the lingering hormones. Also, I asked about bonding a pair to a single and they said they normally don’t do that :-/
  I have time, since I am moving feb 15th, but, I wanted to start the dating process.
  
  He met a girl, who nothing really happened…she licked him once. Then he met a boy. I don’t know…they laid next to each other for a while, then the boy rabbit began grooming Lucky a lot, they seemed to enjoy each others company. This was in a confined spot, then I had them in a little bit of running space, the male began chasing and trying to mount Lucky. I wasn’t expecting Lucky to be the submissive one! But, he didn’t get a chance because it got a little rough.
  Lucky also met another mixed rabbit, not sure what he was but he was gorgeous. He had only been neutered in December and only wanted to escape the pen lol, he was so so cute, but nothing really happened at all between them.
  
  I gave a deposit for a rabbit, and we have to figure out which one is the one, but it’s looking like the second rabbit he met. They are awesome, and willing to work within my time frame. I really wanted to meet this mixed female but she had literally just been returned (she was adopted, they brought her back because the guy got a girlfriend and said she was allergic…) so she had a lot of activity today so it wasn’t a good idea for them to meet, but I really wanted them to! Maybe next weekend.
