BinkyBunny is a forum for the care of house rabbits. Each section has a purpose which is described below the name. The Lounge is the section that is for general chitchat that can be about (most!) any topic (obviously stay away from controversial topics and hot button issues!)

If you’ve never participated in a forum setting before, it can be confusing, so feel free to just read threads first. A forum is kind of like a chat room but the topics are saved and archived.

In the Lounge, there is also a running monthly chat thread most months. You can just post more random stuff in there, but the same rules apply regarding content.

If you start with the Home Page, and read through the menus, you can find loads of information designed to help you live comfortably with a pet House Rabbit. Once you go into the Forums, be sure to check out the posts with the thumbtacks stuck at the top. The Forum rules are strongly recommended to give you a great idea of what happens in the Forums when you post, or reply to posts. It’s really an excellent guideline.

Many rabbit owners have trouble finding practical information, tips, advice, or just empathy about living with a bunny or more in your home. Here, we are all about the bunnies, and we chat slowly, via the forums, because have an international membership – so it’s day and night and not always the same day. We love our bunnies, make friends, share stories, etc. And we love to see each other’s photos, so be sure to post your pix! (Check out the Tech forum if you can’t figure out how to post them.)

Welcome.  This is the only forum I’m on and it’s fun to hear there are other adults out there who are bunny crazed too. So many people think rabbits are just for kids and cannot imagine what pleasure I get from just LOOKING at rabbits. They can’t begin to imagine the rewarding feeling of cleaning the cage or anything else.  And it sounds like you have a checkered giant?  Giants ROCK!!  I saw giant checkereds at a rabbit show and really liked them. But I ended up actually rescuing a giant bunny at the shelter and buying a Giant Chinchilla that was going to be sent out for meat because he wasn’t show size.  I didn’t care and he may be small but he’s big on personality.
