For the past 6 months, my rabbit Lord Chaos would constantly shed, vets kept saying it was stress shedding, but took him to a rabbit vet and they’ve said he just has a double coat, hence the shedding. Only problem is his usual bristle brushes aren’t getting the fur off him, so hes had a lot of his poo all joined up with fur (tried pineapple and special medicated treats to help him, but still quite a lot of these poos) was wondering if anyone else had any tips for getting the fur out? the vet gently twists and pulls the tufts that are nearly off him when we go see them, and have tried to do the same at home, (its similar to what a partner bunny would do is my thinking) but I can never get all the loose fur off him, as I don’t like doing it for longer that a few minutes in case it stresses him out

Lint rollers work well, just roll them down your bunny. I buy the cheap kind that aren’t extemely sticky so that I don’t pull out any attached fur and hurt them. Rubber dish washing gloves work well to remove extra hair.

This is the brush I use and I love it.
