  Being the animal lover I am, I volunteered myself to pet sit a guinea pig for 5 days. Both Ziggy and the Guinea pig (Craig) are male and unaltered. I know they will NOT be friends, but should I even keep the cages in separate rooms as well? I don’t want to stress either animal. Also would it be a problem letting Craig play with Ziggy toys? Or would the cause a problem when Ziggy smells someone else on his toys?

  They’ll be fine in the same room. I wouldn’t allow them to share toys though….they don’t usually enjoy the same time of toys anyway,

  I’m not sure how the name came about. But she gives her pets people names. Her cats names are Karen and Rhonda. So far Craig seems to be ok. He likes to sit on my lap. Ziggy better get his act together or Craig’s going to take his place! lol!!!
  Ziggy seems very curious about this weird looking “rabbit” in the house. haha!! I have to put Craig’s cage up on the table because Ziggy is so nosey.

  haha! Not that I know of. But I can’t fit the whole fam in my apt. So far Craig is a sweetheart! He loves to be held and brushed. When he wants to be held he stands up and makes this weird grunting sound. I’m hoping Ziggy will see us in our sweet embrace and start wanting cuddles too. lmao!!

  Or when Craig’s mum returns – threaten Ziggy that your gonna pack him up instead of Craig? Ha ha ha…..
