  I have a two month old, dwarf angora rabbit. He is black and has a white stripe on his face. When I got him, he had blue eyes but I have recently noticed that they are starting to turn kind of purple, but sometimes they are just blue. They seem be constantly shifting colors. Does anyone has any idea if this means that my bunny is sick or something? I’m starting to get worried.

  All babies tend to start out with blue or grey eyes…(There are always some exceptions to the rule) Most will develop their true colours as they mature depending on the species it could be over days or months,,,, At two months I would say they are just settling in to what their permanent colour will be.

  Wooly’s eyes started out with bright blue eyes. Now they are purple-ish blue. He’s a vienna marked Jersey Wooly.
