There is a clinic on Miamisburg Ohio. Its called Pets in Stitches. Its the cheapest neuter I have found ($150) and its an hour away. I know its far, but saving almost $200, its worth it. However, I don’t want to go into it blind and possibly have something go wrong. I read reviews on the site, but who would keep a bad review on their site. I was wondering if anyone has or knows someone who has taken their bunny there before.

I see its listed on wabbitwiki.com and nootersclub.org. Is that how you found it?

How about asking on this the Buckeye House Rabbit fb page?

If you can get a name of the vet(s) there that see rabbits, even better.

I’m actually the veterinarian at Pets In Stitches! 🙂 People do post bad reviews online about businesses. The fact that you can’t find one is testament to Pets In Stitches and our commitment to our patients. We perform several rabbit neuters and spays a year. If I remember correctly, last year there were six or eight. I’d be happy to answer any questions you have!

I have two little buns, Felix and Mortimer. Both are males. Felix is about 8 months old. Mortimer is about 6 months old. When is the recommended age to neuter bunnies? I saw the prices online, very reasonable in comparison to the $400 dollars per bun I was quoted at other places. I am just worried if something happens to my bunnies just because I wanted to save money. I mean no offense, I am sure you’ll understand where I am coming from.

I recommend at 4 to 6 months of age so both Felix and Mortimer are of age. I do understand your concern. We are not inferior in any way. Since all we do is spays and neuters, we do it very well. It’s like going to your general practitioner vs a pediatrician for your children. A pediatrician has much more experience and knowledge about children than your general practitioner would. Same thing with Pets In Stitches.

You will be given information about how to reach us after hours. First of all, for non-urgent concerns there will be an email address you may utilize. Second, our staff carry an on-call phone until 10pm Monday through Saturday. And last, any recheck examinations necessary have no charge. Any medications needed may have a charge though.

                  Keep the questions coming! 🙂

I could really use some recommandations on nail clipping. Neither of them trance or hold still for any of it. It usually turns into a two person job. Are there any simpler ways?

I have always performed nail trims on bunnies with a second person. Just makes me feel safer.
