I have had my little bunny Oreo for around six months now, and I am just so happy I got her! She was only eight weeks old when I got her and an angle. Never causing any mischief. The she grew up….  I did not understand her affection it nibbling, to her she was grooming, to me she was attacking. I got mad at her for digging at the Capet, Not potty training right, and finding everything she could to rip to shreds, including many of moms cords. I did not want to have to deal with her bites and distraction anymore but felt like a monster to get rid of her, so I held on, did lots of research, and soon came to understand her. She now roams my room all day and at night she sleeps in her cage peacefully, because she can’t take having me in the room and not being able to get my attention, so for the night she must go back in her cage. Just today she gave me my first head and eyebrow grooming! I am so happy I pushed through the tough times so that now I can love her and she love me back. if I had given up I would never have experienced the affection she just showed me today. Bunnies are just such amazing animals.

           I love you Oreo!

I have a rabbit that is super aggressive with EVERYTHING she does, but then she surprises us and has these good days where she is super loving. She’s been spayed for close to 7 months and we still are not sure why she’s like that. Sometimes we get angry at her, but we would never get rid of her (we have talked about it a couple times). We are not supposed to have pets and when she has to be put away at night, she throws a fit. She is VERY loud. She loves to follow the voices of the ppl that live below us and thump her feet. Even on her bad days she asks to be pet. She is VERY agile and good at training, so we have worked on getting her energy out before bed.

Then there is Moogle. He is the COMPLETE opposite. We thought we were going to lose him yesterday after a tough recovery from his neuter. I’m pretty sure my boyfriend and I would have been destroyed emotionally if this happened. My bf is going through a rough time right now, and that little guy is much better at cheering him up than I am. Zach chose Moogle at the feed store, and I’m pretty sure he knows it because he chose to bond with Zach. Those two are inseparable. Zach is a “tough guy”, never wanting others to know he has soft spots. But one day he said he loves that rabbit more than any dog he has ever had

SO NOW if Zach is having a bad day, I just put Moogle in his lap. Rabbits really are amazing little guys, and I’m glad I made the decision to bring them into my life also

Hahaha!!! Funny thing… Just as I sent that I had to get off my lazy butt to stop Oreo from digging in to my box spring.
