  I am not sure yet if this is the right place to ask, but here it goes…
  
  I am having trouble with my love able bunny. She is under a year old and loves attention, but she bits. I know she is not comfortable being picked up so I stopped doing that (making it hard to get her in her cage, any suggestions), but even when I pet her she bits me. I squeal like every one says to, but she seems to pay no heed. I’v tried ignoring her, petting pushing away, moving. I’ve tried all I can think of. And I know it’s not that she is a Just aggressive because she loves me and loves it when I love on her. Could neutering her help? Could she be hungry? I always have hay on hand and she gets two hand fully of pellets and day and veggies at night. Could I need to give her more toys more attention or find a knew way just to say that hurts? Wold getting her a companion help? I don’t know, does any one know what my bunny is trying to tell me with her painful nip?<a class="asminilnkbtn" onclick="asClient.StatusClear(this); return false;" href="javascript:void(0);">.</a></span> <img src="/DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/BB_Theme/emoticons/sad.gif">

  Well female rabbits need to be spayed to eliminate uterine cancer – unspayed females have a 50% to 80% chance of getting uterine cancer so spaying is very important.
  
  Will spaying eliminate biting – not necessarily. Does she just come up and bite you or are you getting bit when you reach into her cage? When exactly does the biting occur? It could be your approach.

  It’s when she is out of her cage that she bits me. Most of the time it is when I am giving her affectionate and she is grinding her teeth happly. Then she nibbles on me. I squeal to tell her it hurts and push her away, then sometimes she will lung and grunt loudly not always bitting but sometimes she does. Other times I am just minding my own busieness and she comes over to me puts her pals on me or nudges me then bits sometimes digging too.

  And I will defiantly start saving up to neuter her then. And if I gat another bunny for her I will try to get it already neutered/ spayed.

  Hi, Sorry to hear about the biting. I have no suggestions. However, to get her to willingly go into her cage, I suggest a craisin. This is how I get my new rabbit to leave his pen. I am convinced that he would go anywhere, do anything, brave anyone for a craisin! Very handy and economical, and I think that the bag will last a long time, unless I start eating them… they look very good.

  I have tryed food once, but is was just her pellets whitch worked for awail, to the point she knew when I snapped my fingers and pointed to the cage that she had to hop in and eat her pellets waiting for her. But that dose not work anymore. Maybe she just needs some food that she dose not get other wise, so I will try that. Thanks!
  
  P.S I hope to soon be able to get rid of her cage, she is become a trustworthy house bunny.
  
  that will solve that problem for me.
