Hello,
I have been meaning to sign up here for a long time because I love all the bunny lovers and the advice given, but I’ve been procrastinating till I finally found myself with my own problem. I really just don’t know how to bond my new bunny to my existing bunnies.
I have two bunnies already bonded in my house; I got my oldest, Shiro (4 years old) when he was a baby and when he seemed a bit lonely we introduced him to Daisy who we adopted (Is about 2-2 1/2 years old). They are boy and girl. When introducing these two Daisy instantly fell in love, but Shiro was very reluctant to get along, it took many meetings to them to agree with each other in a mutual like and now after one year the two are inseparable cuddle bunnies. Oh, when they were introduced Shiro was neutered but Daisy had yet to be spayed, she is spayed now.
The new bunny was not planned but I felt I had little choice. We are taking her, Kuro, to the vet tomorrow for a basic check up to first make sure she is healthy and to make sure she doesn’t have anything she can spread to our other babies, then I am hoping to introduce her to Shiro and Daisy. Kuro does not look old enough to be spayed yet so I don’t know if I should wait, but if it is fine to start bonding do I start bonding her with one bunny or…
I tried to give you all the information I could so if you can get back to me I would really appreciate it.
Thank you,
Kara
