Sorry you didn’t get a response to your post here. It looks like no one is familiar with it, including me.
The problem with an alfalfa content is that it is fattening and really only recommended for babies and young bunnies for a short time. Then you want to wean them off of alfalfa by the time they’re a year old at most. So I’d avoid that last bale.
Is there any way you can request a half bale from them? How does the price compare to other sources? I personally get a “mini bale” from the BB store here, and it stores easily in a small container I got at Target, so it stays neat in the house. It takes her months to go through it all, but she loves her Oat Hay. You can get timothy along with many other kinds. Do a price comparison and figure out how long a quantity will last you to decide which brand and how to buy it is the best for your budget. If your bunny rejects it, you also need to be sure it’s returnable. Many bunnies like one kind but not another.
