I’ve posted about Bunny before & how I kind of just have been bunny sitting him every once in a while. Well, turns out, I ended up talking to is original owner about finding a new more permanant home for him & she’s very hesitant but we agreed that she’ll pay me monthly to care for him for the next 4 months!!
The only thing is, she says not to give him romaine lettuce because it’s bad for bunnies
I have never heard this before! I don’t know if she meant just Bunny has a bad reaction to it or all bunnies. So I’m going to ask her for clarification. But in the meantime, has anyone else heard this?
It would be so much easier on me to be able to feed him all the same vegetable that Mimzy is on, but instead I’ve been leaving out the romaine for him. He didn’t have a very steady diet as it was either. He was getting something different nearly every week it seemed. I have Mimzy on Collard, romaine, red leaf, parsley, kale, & just switch them out. I introduce a new one every so often just for variety, but Bunny has never been slowly introduced to a new food, they just gave it to him =/
