  Hey guys! As some of you may know I had Belle spayed on Friday, I am SO thankful to say that she recovered very well. Today I decided that I would let the two meet on my bed (so I could pull them apart if necessary) and this is what happened! It was their first meeting after Belle’s spay, however they had plenty of play dates before her spay and got on very well – just excessive humping!
  
  So! Their first encouter, both smelling each other working out what was different:
  
  After this they proceeded to do plenty of grooming, which is still continuing at the foot of my bed as I type
  
  Annoyingly the cutest most snuggly ones are too big to upload on here! Belle is only 2 days post surgery but she is recovering quite quickly it seems, she even did a binky a minute ago when Barney stopped grooming her! So far they have just been grooming mostly, though Barney did try to hump her which I quickly put a stop to. Hopefully in the next few days there will be no humping and they will be bonded!

  How wonderful! They are so cute! But the humping could probably linger a while longer than a few days I’d think.

  Thanks! Me too, super relieved so when shall I put them together for good?? Also I am heading back to my parents an hour away tomorrow, I will take a cage for them and usually have one in a carrier and one in the cage … shall I just put them both in the cage? They’re fairly used to the car so it would be like a mild stress bonding? No aggression showed at all so far (or ever), just some humping
  Advice on how to proceed would be really appreciated ^^ x
