So I went to the foster home of two girl bunnnies that I was planning to adopt. However, they said that the girls aren’t available because one became bonded to the mother and the other is having behavior problems so she isn’t available at the moment either. However, the two boys were available. They are both fixed and bonded, but I was wondering if there was any reason NOT to get the guys. My reasons for getting girls was because my last rabbit (a male and fixed) kept spraying outside of his cage (he would sit in his litter box, stand on his front legs, and deliberately pee outside of the cage). I had read that fixed females couldn’t do that. Has anyone had issues with fixed males?
Basically, what are the pros and cons of getting male rabbits over female rabbits?
Oh, also, will the boys be more likely to fight than the girls or anything? They are brothers who have been bonded since they were born and are fixed, but is there any reason that they would get more aggressive or anything?
