My buns’ name is Jo-Jo, or Bun-Bun, or as my 3 yr old grandaughter calls her, Bum-Bum. Also Pwitty Pwincess, Pwincess Kissy-nose, or hubby’s favorite – The Poopinator. What do you call your bun? Especially when nobody is listening?!
I make up nonsensical nicknames all the time. Right now I use “Shnoopsypoops” a lot, for the bunny AND the cat. ![]()
Shnoopsypoops! Might have to use that one for the hubby!
cosie was ‘piglet’ or ‘little piggy’. callie is ‘callie-at-alley-cat’ and ‘troublemaker’! of course there are more random ones, but these are the most consistent.
. My last bun was “Bitey McBitington”.
I normally use “Trouble buns” when referring to both of them, or “lil sh*ts” or “bunniiieeees” in an annoyingly high-pitched voice, sometimes I call them “Babies” or “Baby girls.” but “Baby Girl” is reserved for my female dog, Lucy. I have more nicknames for my dogs, I’ll call Lucy “Luce.” occasionally, then Pepper, my older male dog, is “Snaggletooth”, “Puppers” or “Baby boy.” then my youngest male, Zeus, is “Bubba”, “Puppy”, “Little one” or “ZEUS STOP STEALING MY PENS WHILE I’M TRYING TO WRITE.” (I joke, I joke.) But mainly I just call them my babies.
My boyfriend and I call Caleb “baby bunny” sometimes but there aren’t many nicknames for Caleb lol oh and my roommate nicknamed him “Lunch”…also he knows a person with a bunny named sniffane (like stephane)
‘Outlaw’s personal pez dispenser’… but since his hormones have been kicking in, Bumpy is now… Grumpy Bumpy. The hubby has been calling him ‘Dinner’ and further antagonizes me by telling me it’s a perfect name because he’s sure that he’d be a ‘tasty lil morsel’. I try not to leave those two alone too often. ![]()
Lol! When I was a kid we had a bunny who my father named “Delicious”!
LOL! ![]()
The Long Eared Pygmy Wildebeest as a collective live up to their nick name… They are also referred to as the Bunyips… (Mythical creatureThe bunyip, or kianpraty, is a large mythical creature from Aboriginal mythology, said to lurk in swamps, billabongs, creeks, riverbeds, and waterholes.) Also Bumbles and Heathens.. Individually there is a range from Baron Von Binky, Pepperoni, Pazzybun, Blossybot, Nomnoms, Starman, Pipibug and the ever popular “You evil little sh*t”
Bun-Bun, Bunny Butt, Fluffster and Brat are the most common ones for me. Occasionally Evil Little S**t but only when she’s done something really really bad.
Hehe I like calling my little Marshmallow “Mr. Handsome” “Fluffy bum” and “*sshole” (he doesnt know the concept of staying in his bedroom, or not eating my hair, uhh why would I want to wake up to a bunny eating my hair?)
oh and my baby bunny ![]()

or Bun-Bun, or as my 3 yr old grandaughter calls her, Bum-Bum.
Haha, that’s what I call Rumball Either Bum Bum or Rum Bum or Buddy.
Jersey; Missy MissChief or Bub. Maple; Mapes or Sweetie. Potamus; Mishy Moosh (Missy Moosh). A friend calls her Fattymus
.
Tim Tim; Timbu or Tiki-Timbu, Bub-Bub, Gooseman gets “Goosemaaaaan” Goose or Goosey & Ains or Ains-ster. He was a foster & a friend named all my fosters. He was Ainsley but i never really thought it fit. However, I do revert to it sometimes.
I have so many names for the buns really but those are the most I verbalise. They all get called “Ratbag” or “Rascal” often also.
I loved reading everyone’s nicknames. : )
Mine commonly get called little turds as in “hey! You little turd!”
But other than its just Sally and Harley lol
Abbie gets called Abigail or Abitha sometimes :p Brevin gets called piranha and monster sometimes too. Tooter gets called Tooter-monster or Tooter-love depending on his behavior :p
My bunnies have very insane crazy-rabbit lady names. They change all the time. Their current nicknames are:
Bindi: Bear, Teddy Bear, Fluffy Bear, Snuggy Bear, Huggy Bear, Fluff, Fluffems, Fluffy Pants
Olivia: Princess, Princess Pants, Beauty, Beauty Girl, Baby Doll
Love all of these!
Oh god why did I have to find this thread?! ;D
Bubba bun, chubby butt, prince, baby boy, chubba, chubby, podge…podgems..fatness…fatty…he’s actually not even fat, it’s just coz he always sits hunched up on the bun loaf so he looks chubby :3 Either those…or Apollo bun (when he’s getting treats!), or Apollo
x
Used to call mine Baby Bunnie, but now it’s just Boo Bears lol
I call my Mini Rex doe ChinChin (she has a *triple* chin. LOL), and BunBun. I have sisters who call her Princess Puffball. She isn’t even puffy! O.O
Um… Turd 1 and Turd 2? Hehe!
Wooly is my little fluffle butt though.
Kern is usually “Fuzzy Bunny” or “Devil (sometimes Demon) Spawn” Bleu is usually always doing something bad so I call her “Bleu! NO!” “Fricken Rabbit” or my favorite and this reserved for when I am trying to get something done and she wont stop being bad “Bleu! You will become dinner if you don’t stop” (Totally 100% joking for this one. Just to clarify
) Most of the time though I call both of them “my beautifuls”
Lately Jo has decided to huddle around my feet while I work (I am lucky enough to work from home) and when I look down it’s like I’m wearing bunny slippers so I’ve taken to calling her bunny slippers. She’s a Flemish Giant , so there’s enough of her for a complete pair ! ><
I rarely use my bunnies’ proper names now since saying “Bill! Ted! Rufus!” is a pain in the arse. They all run over when I say “bunnies!” and I tend just to call them bunheads or cutey buns when I’m speaking to them :3
I try to stick with Simba so that he’ll hopefully learn to respond to his name – but I can’t help with nicknames like Spazzy, Lil Spaz, Simbaspaz, SirPoopie and my husband just calls Bunny, Bunny, Bunny! xP
Haha! I love this one!
Fleury: Fleurles
Sidney: Sid
Tanger: Tang, Tander (the vet spelled his name wrong once and it stuck…)
Simba: Lion, Sims, Simmer Bun
Nora: Sweetie, Pretty One (She even has her own song where I sing this horrible name over and over again)
I like to call Sheldon- Mr. Sheldon or Sir. Sheldon. I also call him Cheeky Bun, or Rascal, when he’s being naughty.
Bella is Bella-bun, sweetie, Bell-boo, and fluffbutt. Lionel is Da lion, squishy, and Lioney. I also call them “little troublemakers” hehe
Awesome thread.
Rufus is mostly Mr Snuggles but also Cuddlemonster, Roofy, Fuzzybutt and Matey.
Oh Chester has some nicknames, BunBun, Bunny, Bunnykins, Sweetie, Cutie, and in some occasion “No!!!”, “Little Rascal” or “Little sh*t”. But he’s usually pretty well behaved ![]()
I have so many – Bumbum, Bumby, Bumburra, Bonbons, Bubba, Fluffbutt, Bunsen but never do I call him Dexter! I do the same with my cat. Her name is Annabelle but I call her everything else but that. I tend to that with my husband too…don’t know what is wrong with me lol ![]()
They’re endearments. Nothing wrong with that.
I tend to use their actual names only when I’m referring to
them to someone. Or at the vet.
I forgot one. Maple I’ve been calling Audrey i.e. Audrey “Hopbun”.
She has this sweet little face and I’m reminded of Audrey Hepburn for some reason.
