I brought my bunny tarzan home four days ago. he is a ten week old netherland dwarf. he adjusted so well it was crazy. he met the cats and they got along. he has been running around out of his cage and increadibly sociable. but man this bunny can cause trouble. for one he refuses to sleep in his home. he prefers to sleep in his litter box. i tried moving it around and he still refuses to sleep anywhere else. so i made the litter box his bed and have been using a card board box for his litter. today i discovered he has been pooping in his original litter box aka his bed. how do i litter train him? he has also started to poop outside his cage. the past three days he has not but he has started to today. also there are the bites. the most he has ever done to me is a little nip when he is grooming me or when i am not paying enough attention to him. however when my mom or sister or brother tries to pet him or hold him he will bite. are they just being whiney or is he really biting them? then there is the chewing. tarzan chews on everything except his toys or anything he is alloud to chew on. peronally i just think he is being a brat. he will chew on my laundry, the clothes on my body, my hair, he chewed through my headphones, my phone case. i bunny proofed my room pretty good, and i dont understand how he finds so many things to chew on! is there any way to train him not to chew so much? ive tried yelling “no” when he chews on my phone and he has stopped doing it so often but i feel bad yelling at him. anyways i would really appreciate some help because i am stumped on how to litter train, chew train, bite train, basically train my fuzzy pain in the butt.
