Number 1: Move the phone.
(I’m assuming you mean cell phone)
Number 2: Bunnies chew. So bunny proof everything. No, really – EVERYTHING.
Number 3: he’s just a baby, in a strange new place surrounded by strange new people and new things to taste. When the newness wears off, he’ll calm down a little. Once he’s neutered, he’ll calm down even more. You can’t really blame him for nipping… How would you feel with all those people you don’t know shoving their hands at you! Tell them to sit still on the floor and let him come to them. Don’t try to pet him until some trust is built up.
And D: lots of bunnies nap in their litter boxes. It’s ok. Put some hay in there. Buns like to potty while eating so eventually he’ll figure it out. Until he’s neutered, he’s gonna keep marking his territory by leaving poops around (and the occasional pee). Again – bunny proof. Only let him on surfaces you don’t mind being peed on.
Think of him as a terrible two year old – you can’t get mad at him for chewing on or peeing on something if you left that something lying around where he can get at it. Once you find out what he likes to chew (wood, cardboard, plastic) get him his “own” chewable things in that substance.
Have patience and good luck!!
