  Alright, things have been going really well with my little adoptees. They love the new cage, and Biggins’ has been neutered; life was peachy.
  The problem came about a week ago. “princess” started acting weird, humping more then normal (i know females sometimes do it. . . but really, this much?) long story short, Princess is a male. Going through puberty now, i guess. After the second night of them thumping and chasing, i seperated them.
  
  Princess has been re-named “Harvey” as in GUY Harvey. . . ha ha, I’m so clever -_-
  
  He is getting neutered Thursday, august 1st. I understand that males tend to, well, you know, try and kill each other over territory. But I have heard some stories that after they are both neutered, they can be bonded again. Everyone tells me it totally depends on their individual personality.
  
  Biggins is fine. he never had a problem before he was altered, and was fine after wards. Even when harvey became aggressive, he was submissive, just sort of ran and hid.
  
  My precious, sweet little Harvey, on the other hand, has turned into a vicious little brat. Perfectly fine, until he sees Biggins. First, he just tries to mount him, then becomes very upset when that doesnt work out.
  
  I’m wondering if any of you have had experiences with two males that were at one point bonded? I would love to just seperate them for a month or so, until Harvey is ALL better. . . then place them back together. I don’t have the room for another “mansion” sized cage, so if we had to keep them apart forever, I would have to get rid of the new cage and start from scratch to make two smaller ones. Just a little dissapointing after putting so much time/ money/ energy into that cage.
  
  For right now we left Biggins in the new cage and placed Harvey back into my dog’s crate (not to punish him, but biggins is just too big for that crate; Harvey can at least move, stretch and flop in it) And I feel so bad that I take Harvey out for free range almost all day.
  
  It was so much better when they were both happy in the new cage. . . does any one think that will be possible agian?

  First off, males are definitely the LESS TERRITORIAL of the two sexes. Two FEMALES are the ones who will viciously defend territory. Sure, some males are going to be territorial too, but it’s much less common that it will escalate to a severe degree.
  
  Two males (neutered obviously) can be a very easy bond. I wouldn’t worry about getting them back together after he’s been neutered.

  that makes me feel so much better. im trying to learn as much as I can. . . but I have no experience with bunnies. this is why I come here rather than trust google. every other website tells me males can never live together.
  so until his appointment, harvey is seperated. and atm he has free reign on the entire house. I locked the dog and cat up. haha. he seems much better. thank you again for the information.
