  BTW: what kind of rabbit is Dobby? I’ve suddenly been seeing some of those bunnies w/ white rings around their necks, and I’d never seen that before.

  Feeding rabbits is SO much better than feeding pigeons. I haven’t gotten around to visiting Japan yet but I got super jealous when FB friends posted up pics from their visit to the island. One of these days….

  Dobby is a netherland dwarf rabbit with, what I like to think of as, white eyeliner and a white necklace. 🙂

  It looks like Dobby is a black otter. Very cute. Usually they’d have orange fur on the back of the neck, right?

  I agree BabyD. Black otter or a silver marten if there is no orange colour.

  No orange so I think he’s a silver marten. Thanks for that information. I’ve seen pictures of Dobby’s doppelgangers out there and was wondering if his coloring had a certain name.
  
  Here are two pictures of him. In one he is in the midst of his afternoon nap. In the other he is investigating some stacking cups I bought him. Unfortunately he decided the stacking cups tasted yummy so they had to be taken away.
