  Got a call from the rescue today.. They have received an application from a family to adopt Starsky….
  
  Their last bunny lived to be over 9 yrs old.
  
  He will have an indoor run and cage for inclement weather and night time and a secure outdoor run for nice days. Sian assures me they are quite bunny savvy and very nice people…
  
  Starsky’s pic has already been taken off the Adoptables page so it looks like it has all gone well with the application…
  
  Starting to feel a little emotional . Even though I have been hoping he would find a wonderful forever home I am going to miss his little face and his mad antics….

  Awww it’ll be sad to see him go but he has a forever home now! I hope someday I’ll be able to foster, it looks.like a very rewarding experience!

  Starsky will be taking his Plushie pink bunny friend, stacky cups and cuddle rug with him so he always has a little piece of me to remind him of when his world turned for the better.

  He has been very lucky to have you for this time! I know it’s sad because it’s impossible to NOT get attached, but it sounds like he’s going to a lovely family. Congratulate yourself on a foster job well done!

  Well I’m getting choked up reading this. I have no idea what I’ll do the day someone wants to adopt Melvin. It’s hard fostering but imagine it’s rewarding in the end. The home does sound great for him and he’ll get to be center of attention.

  Awww, Roberta! Don’t be sad – be happy for your little foster boy! I can’t even imagine how hard this will be for you but it sounds like he’s going to a great home where he will be loved and cared for properly and as a foster momma, that’s what is important! He really is adorable, I will miss seeing pictures of this boy!

  Yay for Starsky! I agree, be happy for him instead of being sad. He was lucky to have to help him and now he is even luckier to be going to a good family. =)

  Oh Roberta, I know this is bittersweet.
  Fostering is emotionally draining. No glossing over it.
  
  Maybe the new family will like to have contact with you via FB? They might appreciated having bunny-wise people to gush about their new boy.
  
  Wishing Starsky a smooth transistion into his forever home. He just seems completely lovable and I have a feeling he’ll have his new humans doing his bidding in no time!

  Starsky’s new family are coming for the meet and greet on Sunday.
  I’ll have to get busy and make out his favourite food list….
  Going to miss my little guy but he is going to have such a great life and I will have room to give another little bun a chance.
  I’ll make sure his new owners know about Binky Bunny !!!!!!! We will all want updates.

  Really glad you’ll get to meet them Roberta. I know that helped me a lot when some of my fosters went to their new homes.
