I realllllly need to stop stumbling across picture of cute, local, homeless bunnies.

Zeus’s vet has a little female rabbit needing a home.. she’s been at the clinic 3 months.   And… she’s coming home with me on Saturday.  She’s being spayed Friday.  She’s black, tiny, and extremely adorable… I think she’s possibly part lionhead?  She’s long haired of some sort.  Vet techs say she is very good to be brushed.  I went and visited with her and she’s very good, very brave, and even tolerates being picked up.

Now… how do I break the news to King Zeus???

I’m at work right now, so no pics.  I will post some tonight.

Tell Zeus that a gorgeous Princess is coming to keep him company.

Are you planning on bonding them?

          Can’t wait to see pics!

I’m not real sure, we’ll see how they interact between the bars (initial plan is both cages in my bedroom).  If they don’t jive well between the bars, I may not attempt it.  Luckily I have enough space and time that having two unbonded buns wouldn’t be a problem.

Zeus is very friendly and sweet… he is also a total pushover, and doesn’t stick up for himself!  Giant bunny, no courage.  Poor guy!

Here she is.  I will post more pics once she is home.  I hope her spay goes well!  She’s being spayed by a bunny specialist vet.  Same vet that neutered Zeus.

LOL, don’t they look comical mid-shed?  Zeus has a massively furry butt right now, but the rest is sleek.

She’s so cute, isn’t she???  No idea on breed… she’s super furry on her head, is short-haired along her back, and then super furry again kind of along her bottom half.. so furry butt, furry belly, furry chest.. she looks like a little duster!  LOL!

She must be a Lion Head – she is cute. Jersey Woolies don’t have the fluff around their faces.

Gotcha!  Are Lionheads the only breed with long hair on their faces?  Truth be told I know ZERO about all of the long hair breeds.. never had any interest in them and never thought I’d end up with one!!!

LOL, thanks for all the compliments everyone!  Love “Flufferella” LOL!!!

Well English Angoras as well have that long hair on their face – French Angoras do not. I think she’s too small to be an angora though.

She’s quite small.. under all the fur I’d say she’s not much bigger than a Netherland Dwarf.  Huge difference between picking her up and picking Zeus up, LOL!!!

She totally is a little dust bunny, LOL.

I hope Zeus loves her!  We will see how things go.  I will definitely keep them totally seperated, no visits through the bars, until she’s feeling a little better from the spay.

                                              You’re right Sarita,

French angora’s have short face hair and floofy bodies (with that thick woolly fleece underneath).

Though sometimes they do sport a mowhawk between their ears.
