  I posted a day ago and this seems unreal but times have got much worse.
  
  My bun has come up to 16 weeks old born on the 4th of feb.
  
  She hasnt been done yet and the vet told me to wait till july/ august therefore she will be 5/6 months but i dont think i can wait that long.
  
  She has been out of her cage all day today and pee three times on the floor in different areas and left poops all over the house is this because she is reaching that stage.
  
  Im worried she wont get her litter training habbits back or if i have trained her wrong.
  
  Sometimes she leaves tiny pees in places and she has started to now wee over her toys.
  
  Also she is rubbing her chin on things much more frequently then before.
  
  Is this because she is reaching sexual maturity?
  
  Also will i have to litter train her again?
  
  I want to get her done because i no 80 percent of rabbits die of cancer and i think if health and a stress free life is involved its much better for her i no its not natural but i think its important to keep her happy and live a long healthy life.

  I feel ya, sister. My bunny is giving me lots of litter problems. With females it’s better to spay when they’re at six months, so you should definitely wait. It’s a much more invasive surgery than neutering, and you want to make sure her body can handle it.
  
  Reduce the area she has to play in. Do not give her the run of the house. I know it’s heart breaking, but it’s something you have to do. This will hopefully focus her more.

  Thank you, it is driving me mad not her just the mess i cant cope with it i am an ultra clean freak but i no she cant help it poor thing.
  
  I never knew it was it better for them later on i think im going to just give her the front room and make sure the other doors are always shut even though it will break my heart.
  
  So is that what it is do you think because she has not been spayed yet?
  
  Will she remember her litter habits after or will i have to teach her again?

  Most likely. Hormones cause crazy things in bunnies, including terrible litter habbits. Your bun is probably just trying to mark her territory.
  
  She should naturally fall into the pattern of being litter trained after being spayed. Because she won’t have a hormonal instinct to mark her territory, she should become cleaner and more orderly. It may take a while, however, as hormones can stay in the system for a month or more after the surgery. Give it time!
  
  Keep in mind that sometimes spaying is not the answer, but it usually is. Some buns are just a little messy.
