Every morning I make a fruit smoothie for breakfast, and I always wind down at night with a cup of camomile tea in bed. As delicious as they are, I’m not the only one who thinks so
Without a doubt, as soon as I sit down with my smoothie, Jasper and Getty will jump up on me and beg for a lick! I’m lenient with them and tip my glass slightly so that they can have a couple of sips (they’re always some variety of raspberry/mint/blueberry/banana so I know they’re safe for bunnies) and it makes them very happy. With Jasper and Getty I always give them their daily greens when I have my smoothie, they eat those first and THEN come up for some smoothie. Like a dessert, I guess! At night when I’m in bed, Tribbles will often jump up on my pillow and steal the teabag and run to the bottom of the bed with it, just to lick it! Even when I try and hide my cup behind a book he’ll stand up and pull the book down to see what I’m hiding
I just wondered if I should be being so lenient with sharing with them, and if anyone else shares with their buns like this? I find it adorable and I don’t offer the brothers any more fruit throughout the day. On the tea front, do you think it would be okay to brew up some cold camomile/nettle tea and offer a little bit to Tribbles? Even though he seems more interested in the teabag rather than the tea.
Also, sorry if this should be in the general discussion area, I wasn’t soo sure of where to post this.
