  So I’m a new bun owner (Less than a week!). Bean came into my care through unusual circumstances, and I don’t yet have a cage. I’ve bunny proofed my room, so I let my baby run around and play while im in here, s/he loves climbing all over me (and everything else), but when I lay on my back s/he tries to eat my hair. I feed him/her (I still dont know the sex) as much as I should, so the only reason I can fathom my little one doing this is because my hair is pink. S/he also nibbles at my toenails! I can’t imagine this is healthy, so any tip on how to train my bun to stop?

  Babies explore with their mouth which is probably why she is nibbling on you. I don’t think rabbits see colors the same as we do and she wouldn’t know what cotton candy is anyway :~)
  
  I guess my best advice is to wear shoes or socks so she doesn’t nibble on your toes. Or just move her away when she does.

  She’s probably trying to groom you. Porky always prefers to groom me on hairy spots, usually my eyebrows and hairline,

  See, that’s what I thought at first, but no, Bean is actually biting off pieces of my hair and eating them :l It worries me very much

  Does the bunny have 24/7 access to hay? I have heard of guinea pigs “barbering” if they do not have enough to chew on, but that is the only thing I can think of and i’m not having much luck with internet searches. Just be careful that bunny isn’t eating enough of your hair to get hairballs.
