  Its been a while since I have posted on here! Hope everyone and everybunny is doing well!
  
  I am really worried about Circe. Last friday she seemed to have sprained or injured her leg/foot. The poor thing fell , and some books fell on top of her. She looked like she was in a lot of pain, and limping. Well not really limping, she just sort of scurries with her front paws and doesn’t really botther using neither of her back legs. We rushed her into the emergency vet and she took a look at her foot. It seemed to be fine, we got some Xrays done, which also did not show any signs of a broken bone. The doc said that it could just be bruising or nerve damage. She gave us a week’s supply of Metcam, and I am now finished it. Circe still seems very off. She is not using her legs at all, its as if they don;t exist at all. She doesnt bother moving, and she has been peeing all over her self. She doesn’t clean her self like she used to, and has pee all over her bum and legs; it stinks really bad. I dont know what to do.. ive been trying to encourage her to use her back legs, but she won;t do it at all.. I have to put food right infront of her in order for her to eat or drink… please help! ..
  
  Also, we noticed every time we pick her up or move her, she begins to pee:S

  Did they xray her back? Or just her feet? This sounds like she hurt her back. Poor baby I have no experience with this but there are a few people here who have disabled buns involving their back legs no longer working. I don’t know about the lack of bladder control though…

  Poor Circe! Have you taken her to see your normal vet? I would get your regular vet’s opinion on Circe’s condition and maybe have the x-rays taken at the emergency vet sent over to them so that your regular vet can see them. Or maybe just have your vet retake the x-rays. I would just get a second opinion since it seems like there isn’t improvement and since it was a traumatic accident.

  In your post you mention the emergency vet, have you taken her to your regular vet? I think a vet visit to try to figure out what’s wrong is definitely in order.

  Well her emerg vet is her regular vet lol.. should have mentioned that earlier.. we just went during emergency hours.

  I would go take her to someone else to get a second opinion just in case. It never hurts to get another vet to look at Circe.

  Yeah, I was also thinking it could be her back. The vet did take an x ray of her whole lower half of the body, including some of her back.

  Nerve damage can essentially deaden parts of the body. I know someone who has a bird that pulled a teapot off a counter, fell with it and ended up under the teapot when it hit the ground. No bone damage, but the nerves were severely damaged and she is paralyzed in one of her feet. Now, sometimes this can repair itself in time with treatment and exercise. There are people who make pet wheelchairs and if she can’t use her back legs, may be worth looking into. There was a thread about them a few days ago on here… I can’t link with a tablet but if you need I can find it tomorrow.
  
  Hopefully your vet can find something when you go back that is more easily treated, but if not, animals can be very good at adapting. Good luck and healing vibes to circe.

  The only thing I’m worried about is how she goes all over herself. The back legs you can work with by getting her a chair. If anyone could offer advice on helping keep her bunny clean to avoid skin irritation?

  Yeah, take her back to the vet for a recheck. It’s very difficult to really know what it could be so further exam by the vet is a must. As for keeping dry, try some sheepskin which will wick the wet away from her.
