  There is a pet expo here in SoCal this weekend. I think it started on Friday. I know there will be some bunny rescues there…(or at least one that I know of). They are going to have lots of bunny items and such. I am going tomorrow to buy some awesome stuff for my pets. They also have pet adoptions there but I am not bringing home another pet, though I think my mom wants a puppy. Anyway I just wanted to let people know that the OC pet expo is here and it looks like a good place to buy bunny or other pet items. =) I think tomorrow is the last day of the pet expo, though.

  Sounds fun. I urge you to resist taking home a bunny. Also, I really, really discourage your mom getting a puppy with a bunny in the house. It’s very hard to train them all to get along, you cannot ever leave a puppy (and many breeds of dogs) unsupervised together. Before our members who have both argue with me here, I think it’s best to go the “ounce of prevention” route and consider the long term and immediate effects on your household. A difficult situation can be prevented, and if you guys need to bring home someone, please let the bunnies book a play date with a rescue for another day to meet for possible bonding. In other words, give it the old 24 hour test. No impulse buddies on the drive home.

  Thanks! Don’t worry, I will not bring home another bunny! One of the rescues I know is going to be there but I am just going to buy rabbit toys and stuff…not adopting another bun bun. Also, we have a dog already and she has no contact with my rabbits. I would never allow my dog to be near my rabbits…Some dogs seem to get along with bunnies but I don’t want to risk it. I don’t think my mom would actually bring home a puppy but if she is really considering it I will have to discuss with her the bunnies.
