Kaiser just about finished his first seasonal molt! Patience is what I give as an advice, even as generic as it sounds. If it’s in the really bad stage, you can just brush him every hour or two, that’s what I did to keep it down. Though he doesn’t really like the brush all that much, so I resorted to pulling out loose tufts of hair (which is VERY effective). I find that rabbit hair is very fine, so some brushes may not pick it up as easily as just doing it with your hands. There isn’t much else to do! I don’t know if banana works, since Kaiser won’t touch it, but you can try!
And don’t worry about Foo. Kaiser was about 10 months before he molted. The seasonal molt is apparently the heaviest, and the one you might actually notice. I didn’t even realize when he changed from his baby coat! But he must’ve done, since he lost a lot of his mane! I think it may also depend on the weather where you live year round, and the breed of the rabbit.
