I was wondering if bunnies get grey hairs? I’m not totally sure if I’ve read somewhere that they do. Vienna’s not really an elderbun yet  though, so I probably won’t be seeing them for a while. She might be getting silvery hairs on her haunches, but I might be lying down at bunny level too much

Some bunnies do. I have a friend with a black Nethie who’s around 8 and he’s got little silver hairs that grew in as he aged.

Some bunnies will also change colour, usually lightening, as they age.

Many bunnies get different colors in their fur with a shed, and over time you may notice a dramatic change. Spockie was light gray in spots as a young bunny, and they got darker and darker as he aged, so it’s not necessarily gray hair like ours. But it can be quite startling when you take home a baby bunny that’s one color and find you have a different looking bunny 2 years later!
