I love to read. So I’ll read aloud to my buns. Also, while I’m on the computer I’ll sit on the floor with my buns. My shnuggle buns Skipps and Ian will come curl up next to me for loving when I do this (he’s next to me as I type this ;] ). There are a lot of different things that you can do. But your bun seems very happy. =]

sometimes I build towers out of cardboard tubes from paper towels or toilet paper – and the buns like to knock them down 🙂 When Baxter wants to play, he twitches his head and runs around us. We take steps toward him to play chase….he loves it! Then I love to pet my buns – so several times a day, I’ll sit or lie down by them to just pet them.

But as Skipper’s mama said – it sounds like you’re already doing a wonderful job with your bunny.

Mine really just prefer to hang out near me, and occasionally come up for pets or treats. I have done clicker training with them and they love that as well. They also really enjoy when I clean out their room and move all of their stuff around so they can explore it all over again.

Maybe it’s because I have two who are bonded but I rarely spend any time with mine; they are very low maintenance. In general, I do my own thing; they do their own thing. They get pets and sometimes I smoosh my forehead/nose up to theirs like they do to each other =). I tried the teach and treat but it was solved within minutes and I’ve “trained” one to pick up a toy. One likes to jump onto my bed in the morning and type on my computer.

I spend time with my bun by multitasking. I am on the floor a lot either doing homework, watching TV, or playing video games. She is content when I am on the floor with her. She loves pets on her own time, but will battle me when it comes time to ‘who gets a kiss.’

It sounds like you and your bun’s relationship is off to a great start
Have you offered her any toys? Bunnies really like cardboard boxes with holes.

I like snuggling with them while I watch TV. They’re both very comfortable being handled, so I’ll either pick them up and put them on the couch with me or wait until one jumps up on their own, and then get snuggled in under a blanket. I also like holding up willow sticks or plastic toys by their face for them to chew on. Sometimes I also like to scatter little treats around the room and watch them try to find them.

Thane loves to throw things, no matter the size! And he demolishes egg cartons. I have trained him to walk on his back legs when getting treats, so sometimes I’ll do that.

Siha is a little different. She likes pets. No. Scratch that. She DEMANDS pets. She’s happiest when in BunDaddy’s arms being cuddled.
