Hi everyone,
I’m just curious how you spend your time with your bunnies.
I’m a new bunny owner & have lucked out with a friendly, low-key bun. She seeks out pets, follows me about, and occasionally gives bunny kisses. Most of the time she is content to lounge & eat.
I’m wondering if there are things we should be doing together other than what we typically do. She has been solving the teach & treat puzzle, will occasionally play “toss/fetch” and “chase” me, and she likes to run through (and chew) a cardboard box with doors cut out in it. She’s not really a jumper and after an incident where she bonked her head on the coffeetable when trying to jump from the couch after we had lifted her up (thankfully all was okay!), it’s not something I really want to push.
A lot of websites about bunny care indicate that bunnies require a lot of time…we do spend a good bit of time petting her & just hanging, as she has free run in our den & dining room, the main areas where my husband & I spend our time…but overall she seems pretty happy with low-key interactions & seems to seek out attention when she needs it.
How do you all interact with your buns?
