Thanks, Vet thinks it’s an ear infection but I don’t think he saw discharge or anything like that. I got him to the vet asap so dr is hopeful that there will be a quick recovery. He’s treating the inflamation, antibiotics (baytril) and motion sickness… sounds pretty standard first line approach so we shall see how he does. My guess about his bum is that he was too dizzy to clean himself since when he tried to clean his foot he toppled over. It was not matted in his fur and his normal poops were perfect/normal. So I’m guessing the dogs probably could smell the cecals more than usual. His head tilt was worse last night but this morning was better. I have 36-48 hours before the medicine really kicks in.
If it’s not an ear infection, im wondering if he maybe fell off one of the layers in his house and hit his head. My other guess is related to a nasal discharge he gets on and off. Everytime he gets Timothy Hay his eyes get red and puffy and nose gets dischargy. He’s on Oat hay and he clears up so we believe its allergies, however I am saving up to take him to a specialist to check his nose and teeth for other issues.
We have a porch area where the rabbits can go outside. There is an area with pebbles where they can dig and half of the porch has bunny chews and fun stuff. My garden is gated off but they like to eat the herbs that grow through the gate, so they help me keep the garden trim
I also throw some of their hay seeds in one of the bins and give them fresh green hay saplings as a nice little treat. Sometimes they like to bask in the sunlight.
