I agree with the dandelion greens. They’re a really strong, distinct bitter taste (going along the very fragrant veggie idea.) When I have them sometimes I put them into my salads and can barely stand them, but I feel the need to eat them.
Buster goes CRAZY for them! One day I set my groceries down and within half a second he was over munching on it sticking out of the bag.
I need to go to the really big grocery stores around here to find them though. Like miaeih said, sometimes they can be kind of wilty or gross. I wouldn’t buy them if that’s the case, but just a suggestion: when you’re storing them in the fridge, once a day put some cool water on the leaves and on the ends. It will keep them from wilting, because I find by the end of the bundle it’s always really limp.
Have you tried any swiss chard? (Remember to rotate these out, as per that website.) Buster doesn’t like it, but I feel like bunnies should really enjoy it for some reason. I think because it’s like kale, and they usually all seem to love kale!
