Last time we were at Tractor Supply we used the regular wood pellets; while they work good, they didn’t (at least the kind we got) get rid of any smells and made their pee soaked litter boxes stink. We love the Equine pellets if you can find them by you.
We normally use the horse stall pellets (Equine pellets, I don’t like the word equine for some reason though.) for their litter, at my tractor supply they’re actually only 5.99 per 40lb bag, but the reason I asked is because my grandparents remembered me mentioning that some people use wood stove pellets, and they accidentally bought wood stove pellets instead of pet-safe salt, and they gave it to us to use. But as long as those pellets are fine to use as litter, I’ll use them because they were free. :p Normally I use the horse stall pellets with newspaper at the bottom and it keeps the smell down pretty good in my opinion, and one 40 pound bag lasts us a month or so between the two rabbits. (give or take)
